Greetings from the Vania Republic. we are very pleased to see you are still alive, although we never had any real doubt of this. however, we would like to clear some things up for our archive.
you may or may not remember of the diplomatic meeting that Lord D'al of the VCC set up with, one leader to another, to which you agreed. however, not only did you demand that any meeting have a third party involved, but you instead sent a suburbanite.
during the meeting, your chosen suburbanite showed a very unfriendly demeanor to D'al, and openly stated that most of your nation had a deep rooted hatred of many of the Republic's institutions and General dislike of the entire republic has a whole, things many would call poor form to say in a diplomatic meeting to promote peace.
moving on, in this meeting, it was agreed that you would both send each other ambassadors, joint mining operations would be conducted and research project would be started with experts from both nations.
however, when we sent our ambassador, he was treated very poorly. not only was he only given land underground, it was also near open flowing magma, far out of the way. further more, he was given no welcome and no one came to meet him. any meetings that were done were started by him, and overall mood towards him was uncooperative.
however, of more concern to the Republic was the lack of a ambassador to the VCC. furthermore, no one was ever sent to the agreed upon mining operations or research project. messages requesting confirmation of what was happening were either misfiled or ignored.
so for our archive, we request that you give a reason behind these things. were they done on propose, to spite the VCC? was the suburbanite not actually given power to make binding deals? was it all really a failure of your filing systems? further more, what was the reasoning behind your less then friendly actions to both Lord D'al and the sent Ambassador?
please respond at your earliest convenience.
Yours truly,
the Vania Bureau of Archives, Telecommunications and Diplomacy.
