Suddenly a tiny blue female dragon appears flying infront of him and smiles, only Xefr can hear her and see her "Wake up! Greetings mortal Qoatl Xer.. Xfe.. DAMN IT! I'll call you Xery! My name's Cui'Hoamal, I am a psionic artificial intelligence, but I still look hot, don't I? *giggles* Anyway, I was chosen not for my good looks, but for my good heart and annoying voice to serve as your spirit guardian  ..If I annoy you a lot, just say 'Scram Cui' and I'll scram. Now if you need my physical form, just say 'Cui stand beside me' and I'll materialise and fight alongside you  ..or you know, we could do better things, if you catch my drift *winks*. I also loooove watching the stars so please bring me out when you travel space, or need advice by saying 'Cui get your tail over here'. Now where was I, oh right, you look nice!  ..even though a little old. Can I shine your scales? Carry your things? I'll do anything for you  ..if you be good to me! I hope you aren't one of those prιcks that get me out to fight and never let me finish my sentences. No! I sense you're kind and loving and caring and wise and *sigh* so clueless. And I'm very real, not some kind of projection! So treat me as you would others!"
Spoiler: Cui the Spirit Guardian (hover to show)

Re'Ni seems even more confused and just joins the frustration of the shard "Ghost? What Ghost? Re'Ni just wants sleep, but stupid fake vision of black dragon insist on mind!! This stupid. Mind playing tricks again. No other lizard, Re'Ni is last lizard. Go away!" She just lays down and starts whimpering.

Xefr lightly chuckles, and addresses Cui, "Heh, you remind me of another... Regardless, I know you are real, and I suppose you are similar to us Shards, so I'll treat you like one. Right now I have no need for you, unless you happen to know anything about this place and our mission that you could tell me. That would be much appreciated. One way or the other however, I look forward to working with you."

-

The Shard seems to be less afraid, and more annoyed. His wings curl back up onto his back and he points at Re'Ni with one of his claws, "It's You! You're the ghost! You're not real! That's why when I went to sleep inside that weird sanctuary, you started trying to mess with my head! Agh!!" The Shard begins slamming his tail in rage against what he perceives as the ground. His yelling doesn't seem to be directed at anybody in particular,  "This planet has been nothing but trouble! And it's all the fault of that damn tomb, with its stupid helmet of bones and it's art! Why can't I just have a normal day!?"

Cui seems confused and points her claw on her head "Hmmmmmmmmm. Ah! Of course! You will have to go to a forgotten world called Zuan'Lotl, there you will find something that may help against the damn harpies! You will have to search within you to find the location though..." She smiles, feeling somewhat proud that she helped a little.

-

Re'Ni stops whimering and gives out a loud roar in frustration and anger "No! You are illusion  ..ghost  ..whatever! Re'Ni is real! And frankly had much trouble throughout life for stupid black dream lizard confuse and turn crazy!" ..she suddenly stops  "Wait! Said tomb? Big one? In desert? Black Lizard sleep there?"

Xefr nodded, "Then I suppose finding this lost world shall be our next course of action, once we're done on this planet. I'll handle that looking inside myself on the ship. Thank you for the advice, Cui. Now then, unless you wish to say more, I will wake and continue action in the physical realm."

-

The Shard stopped raging and looked to Re'Ni, confused. "Um... Yeah, that sounds about right. Don't you even know where you are haunting...?" The fear in his eyes was gone, replaced with confusion and curiosity.

Cuin nods happily, she covers her body with her wings and is lost amidst a bright light. As Xefr awakes he can notice Ryssanox taking notes of the five stars depicted in the painting while talking to a tad bit shorter female Ghashyr standing next to him. The female Ghashyr though seems to have fixed her eyes on the black drake, looking at him as he's some form of miracle.
"You.. You are awake?"

-

Re'Ni's eyes are feeled with rage, she flaps her wings and taps her feet, feeling overwhelmed.. "Haunting? HAUNTING? Re'Ni sleeps in Ant-spaceship and sees stupid black lizard. Then wakes up. Then sleeps again and Black lizard calls Re'Ni ghost! Madness! Why not leave Re'Ni alone? Because left Shyr? Hate stupid lizard dream-ghost! ...place lizard said is real. feared! So is Re'Ni, stupid lizard! Only thing not real; Black male lizard from dream!" she remains pointing with her claw at the shard..

Xefr quickly got to his feet, and looked to the new Ghashyr. He shakes his head a bit to wake up, and then makes a friendly smile at the female. His voice is calm, as the drake was quite happy to get away from the craziness of his new situation. "Ah, greetings! Yes, I'm awake, just had a bit of a rest. Let me introduce myself. My name is Xefr, pleased to meet you."

-

The Shard puffed up in rage once more, "What the hell are you talking about!? Of course this place is real! I'm sleeping in it! You're the one who isn't real! You can't have left Shyr, because that would mean you weren't haunting this damn place! But here you are, in my dreams as I just try and sleep! What do you want!? It's the helmet, isn't it... You want me to wear your stupid, damned helmet!" The Shard tail returns to smashing the floor, "Well, it's not happening! Never again! I'm in control, and nobody will possess me ever again!" The Shard then just stopped, and wrapped himself in his wings. As he shivered in fear and confusion, he stammered out a few more words, "Never... No more... No more killing..."

Xefr could notice something peculiar about her, she had a rather strange white scar and seemed awfuly tired, even though tremendously glad and interested..
The female Ghashyr moves her head extremely close to Xefr's left eye, inspecting the giant dragon while a wide smile was on her face.. "I'm Talmyr Talmyroxen Ghaen Shyryen, Lady of All Ghashyr, Unburnt One and Head of House Valxaryen  ...but a dragon can call me Myrsa! If the legends are right we could even be relatives!" she then turns to Rysannox "This is a magnificient turn of events! Isn't it Rysannox?"  ..Rysannox bows his head gently and responds graceously "Indeed It is, unburnt one, my Talmyr!"

-~-

Once the shard referred the damned helmet and his unwillingness to wear it, Re'Ni didn't know if these were her thoughts or this illusion's. She started screaming and pouncing her front feet on the ground "AHHHHH. WAKE. WAKE. WAKE" her image dissapears from the shard's dream.

Xefr noted her strange features, and was slightly uncomfortable at how close she got. "Ah, so you're the Talmyr that your kind has so fervently spoken of! It is a honor to meet you at last, Myrsa. Though I must say, I'm not so sure about the relatives part, I think I would remember having you in my family tree. But I must ask, what brings someone of your position to such a place? I doubt you would come all the way out here just to meet an old dragon."

-

The Shard seemed annoyed by this, and yelled out in the void, "Trying to run!? Well, two can play at that game!" He then begins digging his front claws into the ground, screaming "WAKE UP! WAKE UP!"

Myrsa, seeing she was causing the dragon to feel awkward, backed a little. She immediatelly laughed as the black dragon finished his sentence, her tone being curious and surprised.. "Just an old Dragon? Yes, I'm here to meet just an old dragon. In fact this may be one of the most memorable meetings of my life; Discussing with the species that even my name contains. My House is Valxaryen - House of the Great Dragons; Lords of Datha-en-Valxes - the Nest of dragons. So yes, I assure you I'm here  to meet an old Dragon ...a member of a species that my kin grew with, loved and betrayed - A lost brethren that is present in our crest, name and memory ...and even blood."
Rysannox rolls his eyes very discreetly at the last remark.

-

As the shard wakes, Erixen leans towards him and speaks in a friendly tone "Bad dream? You were clawing the floor and your face had that expression.." Erixen mimics a comically exaggerated annoyed frown.

Xefrwas more comfortable now, with some space to himself, and calmly responded, "Ah... Interesting. It a nice name for a house, and I'm sure many of my kind would say it is befitting a leader. Regardless, here I am, the old dragon you wished to meet. I apologize in advance if I disappoint, I've never really had much speaking skill and I don't believe I'm that interesting a person. But ask any question you wish, but before you do there is one thing I hope you can clear up for me. You mentioned that dragons are present in your blood, and that we may be related somehow. Care to tell me what you meant by that?"

-

After shaking his head a bit to confirm that he is awake, the Shard rolled his eyes. His tone was lined with annoyance, "Yes, yes, very funny. I'll have you know that I did have a bad dream. Bloody ghosts can't even let me sleep in peace..." Then, he sighed, and got up. Following a quick stretch of his tail, legs, and wings, he spoke in his normal voice, "Anything happen while I was snoozing?"

Myrsa seems all too happy to explain her House's history, she extends her arms and talks calmly.. "Oh, I'm sure you won't dissapoint me, Rysannox told me of your kind character. Now, regarding your question.. As the legend goes, Arxys the young Prince of Gardax mated with the High Priestess Asi'Tzo'Akh in Ghashyr form after she used some form of ancient transformation power. Their offspring was named Valxarx - Great Dragon; the mythic Myrvalx, the Dragon-king of Gardax, and the first Valxaryen!" She looks at Rysannox in a somewhat annoyed way.. "Some however, tend to dismiss the evidence and records and choose not to believe.."
Rysannox coughs and turns around, pretending to look at the giant painting.

-

Erixen feels a little bad for teasing the shard.. "You know, my humor isn't always successfull, or good. I just wanted to ease your angst.. and yes, something happened; her greatness, the Talmyr, stormed in suddenly during the night and demanded to see Xefr  ..she is currently downstairs along with Lord Rysannox and the  ..how you called him? ..Essential Xefr!"

Xefr's smile never faded, and he listened intently to Myrsa. After she finished, he responded calmly but with a hint of amusement. "A fascinating story indeed! Though I have heard similar tales before, with Dragons changing form to seduce or simply mate with other races. Mostly humans, but there are others. But they rarely produced living offspring, so your case is quite interesting. And if those tales are true, then I suppose we do have some similar blood. Though I do hope you don't expect anything like that from me. Now then, I suppose you might have questions, or perhaps Rysannox has already told you of my tale. Either way, I won't be leaving anytime soon, so I'm open to anything really."

-

The Shard smiled, and did a little clap with his claws. With a friendly tone, he turned to Erixen and spoke, "Hey! You got it, good job! Most forget or simply don't care, so its nice to see that people can still listen. And your leader came around? Neat, guess I'll say hello when she comes back up, because I'm certainly not going back down there. But... did she even notice me?"

Myrsa felt satisfied and proud at the same time that a dragon was not mocking her House's history like most Ghashyr have done throughout the ages. She laughed a bit at Xefr's unwillingness to marry her, thus repeating the 'Bonding of the Fireborn' with her.. "Oh, I would not ask such a hard favour of you! ...I'm high maintainance! Anyway, I'm glad you will stay with us ..there are many things you may see and do, that could perhaps ease the religious tension that has been plagueing my species for millenia. Yes, Rysannox told me your story  ..or at least he grasped of it. Impressive I must say.  ..we Ghashyr have complex and long tales ourselves, however they are not all part of one person."

-

Erixen laughed loud, so loud that an echo repeated from the depths of the sanctuary "You're kidding right? She stood here for an hour while I was trying to explain to her that you're not the Saint's ghost, but some form of psionic being and that the physical dragon is downstairs! We just didn't want to disrupt your sleep.."

Xefr shrugged, but his smile didn't waver, "I'll try to help as best I can. But I'm sure there are other dragons better suited to the task. Anyways, I suppose my life story is only that interesting because of how long I have lived. As I said, I'm an old dragon, and a very old one at that. Guess when you see lots of stuff when you live long enough, even if you're somebody as dull as myself. And even then, I didn't come out unscathed... But enough of that! I'd be glad to help you during my stay here on this world, and feel free to ask me anything. Speaking of which..."
The Black Drake looked over at Rysannox, and spoke out to him, "Did you find anything while I slept?"

-

The Shard laughed as well, though not as loud, "Really? Well if it was royalty you should have woken me! Heh, but in all honesty, thank you for that. I do enjoy my sleep, and it was much needed. I'll be glad to meet your Talmyr, but I'd rather not fall asleep while doing it. So I suppose I'll just wait here then."
