Tec ripped out another portion of meat before continuing, "Well... I don't think the past is too important right now, and I know just as well as the others on this ship that the time already gone by is filled with pain. So I really just want to know what you were doing before you showed up in my dreams. Unless it's painful, because if that's the case then I don't want anybody bringing out bad memories for my sake. Too many problems have arisen from that before..."

-

The group had reappeared inside that same side-hanger, though the two Valorian troopers were gone by now. The black drake looked to Rysannox and grinned, "That's good. I'm sure that will mean a lot less potential problems in the future. Now, any ideas on where to head next? I'm still unfamiliar to your lands, so I wouldn't have a clue." Myst was off to the side, reading his book.

Re'Ni sighs again, but turns to Tec with a smile, and while she speaks it is clear she is surrounded by uncertainty "Tec is good Valx ..but Re'Ni not yet.. not ready for long past. Re'Ni will speak of recent past though. Tec deserves at least that.." she takes deep breath and continues {"Last days long-awaited miracle  ..Re'Ni had long lost hope but Wise-Ant came - helped Re'Ni leave dead home. Re'Ni saw good in ant. Saw potential. Told Wise-Ant..."} Re'Ni suddenly stopped, her expression was frozen from fear and her tail was shaking as she thought she could have spilled out something important - part of her wanted to tell everything, while the rest wanted to lie to someone that she cared for and whom cared for her... she immediately got out of it by shaking her head and continuing talking as if nothing had happened {"...Re'Ni was ready leave for Ant-planet, but saw Tec in dream - Self felt dream real ...and even if not, even if just demons in head.. soul had to know. So returned. Re'Ni glad did that..."} She moves closer to Tec and places her head near his chest, trying to find comfort in him and away from her thoughts.

-

Rysannox kept smiling and bowed his head a little "...a lot less potential problems indeed. I guess the last step is to make your appearance infront of the people of Shyr ..Reunite two brother-species ...at least from a Shyrite prespective." After finishing talking, his smile had been replaced by a facial expression filled with worries...

Tec pulled Re'Ni into a sort of hug with his paws, and touched his head to hers, "I'm happy you did that as well, Re'Ni. To think, if I hadn't taken that nap, we wouldn't have even spoken to each other. Heh, the universe is a strange place. But, thank you for telling me that, and not just for the compliment. You can tell me the long-form edition whenever you're ready. There's enough suffering in my life without forcing you to talk too early.

-

Xefr's smile faded. He went into thought for a moment, and the thinking expression remained on his face as he spoke, "Hm, that is going to be more complicated than it sounds, isn't it? It certainly wouldn't be a small, quick thing. And my own kind's government back on Heord doesn't even know much of your empire anyways, I haven't even gotten the chance to pass on the agreement we talked about. Perhaps we should wait."

Re'Ni starts sobbing a little and letting out sudden awkward laughs, she hadn't experienced such powerful feelings for as long as she lived; it confused her and excited her at the same time. After a few seconds her sobbing turns into outright crying, her smile still in place while looking at Tec's yellow eyes. She could not hide herself anymore, not from him.. {"Universe truly strange. Re'Ni thought never feel that, but..  Re'Ni loves Tec."} she takes off her necklace and places her right paw on her deep scars, her claws making a perfect match {"Demons in head: Much pain. Much anger. Much fear. Too much for just one Valx"} she then takes Tec's paw with her left and places it above her right paw that still touches her scars {"But for two, nothing..."}

-

Rysannox nods in agreement and strokes his beard "Yes, you're right; perhaps it is too early... we should not rush such delicate things. I guess I will have to return back to Shyr then and prepare the ground so when the time comes, the 'reunion' will be easier for both sides."

Tec uses his free paw, the one not placed on Re'Ni's chest, to take hold of Re'Ni's free paw. As she speaks, tears begin to appear in his eyes as well, but they were tears of joy. Not once before did he imagine himself in such a position, but it was a welcome surprise. Still teary-eyed, Tec responded, "And Tec loves Re'Ni... We'll face the demons together, both yours and mine, and we will win. No matter how long it takes. That's a promise" Then, he went silent, but with a smile on his face.

-

Xefr nodded, "Very well, in the meantime I shall attend to some personal business. Of course, I will first drop you off on Shyr, and when everything is set you can simply call upon me. I won't stray too far, so I will most likely be able to respond quickly unless something comes up. But I do hope you won't ask me to deliver a speech when the time comes, I am no good at public speaking and will simply embarrass myself.

Re'Ni's heart was bumping so hard it could be heard from at least a meter away. She nuzzled her head against Tec's, gripping his paw tightly and coming closer to him, muttering a single word amidst her laughter and crying {"Together!"}  ...she just stood there with Tec, her hope burning brighter than ever.

-

The middle-aged Ghashyr frowned at Xefr and and then smiled "Bah! You're being too harsh to yourself. I've heard so many embarassing speeches in the Saaryn Council you wouldn't believe it. Anyway we will discuss how we will approach this once it is time. Time for me to...  Oh! I almost forgot   ...I wanted to tell you something about the map in the sanctuary, I found a peculiar pattern of red dots, here see for your self.." Rysannox hands a holographic version of the ancient star map in which three small red dots are pointed forming an equilateral triangle.

Tec remained silent for a while, just holding Re'Ni, letting them both get all the tears out. But after that while, he lifted his head and whispered to Re'Ni, "Hey... You want to finish that food? Together, I mean."

-
(OOC: Illuminati Confirmed)

Xefr took the map, and quickly took on a look of confusion, "It's... a triangle? A perfect one at that. That's strange, mind if I take a copy? And, do you have any idea what this means?" Myst saw this as well, and walked over to take a look. Before Xefr could try and explain, Myst interrupted him, "We shall have plenty of time in the future for you to explain what happened on Shyr. For now, I'd rather not waste more of this Ghashyr's time than necessary."

Re'Ni carefully wiped her remaining joyful tears from her eyes with her wing and gave a small laugh, still sniffling a bit as she talked {"Haha-yes. ...need energy to do other things together!"} She rips a big portion of meat and turns her head to Tec with it.

-

(OOC: The reptilians are behind it all!     ..wait.)

Rysannox pointed at the three red dots.. "They're probably stars; yet they were the only points on the map depicted with red instead of white, they where quite hard to notice  ..being far smaller than the rest of the stars." He then turned to Myst and bowed his head a little "Indeed I have to protect the Empire from, heh, a rhetorical dragon! Samael Valxaryen is not the most diplomatic person   ..Anyway."
A voice could be heard within Xefr, slightly annoyed she said something about younger species still being unfunny.

Tec was somewhat unsure on what Re'Ni was doing, but carefully moved his head forward and jokingly licked the meat.

-

(OOC: I didn't even think about that. It lines up so perfectly...)

Xefr looked at the dots, and grunted, "Peculiar... I suppose that they must hold some sort of importance. Thank you for showing me this." The Drake's eyes flashed, and they seemed to do a sort of scan of the map. Then, it was imprinted in Xefr's mind, able to be called upon at any time. Myst merely nodded silently towards Rysannox.

Seeing Tec licking the meat, Re'Ni laughed loud and the meat fell down {"Hahaha! Re'Ni know more effective way of eating meat!!  ...Let illustrate to Tec!}" She bites playfully Tec's snoot. However, not wanting to waste that fine portion of food, she soon picks the meat back again with her right paw and rips out a big part. Her eyes still being centered at Tec and bearing a blissful look, while she munches the meat and making an annoying sound as she does.

-

Rysannox smiles at Xefr and makes a rather discreet version of the salute he picked up from the ship's security earlier "Well, until we see each other again! Is there a vessel? Or will you transfer me with the Soul's Eclipse?  ...I hope you won't toss me to Shyr from a cannon!"
The voice within Xefr starts shouting 'DO IT!' and mentions that such bad humour deserves punishment.

Tec grinned, "Well, I suppose I will have to try for myself then!" He then used a paw of his own to rip out another large portion of the corpse, and threw it into his open jaw, crunching down as it landed. He looks back into Re'Ni's eyes happily, still chewing the meat. Without moving his eyes, he continued speaking, "So... What do you want to do after this meal is finished? The whole ship is open, except for some of the more obviously off-limits places of course."

-

Xefr mentally told the voice inside of him to calm down, and grins on the outside. With a calm tone, he responded, "An intriguing idea... A shame I don't own a cannon. I was thinking of using the long-range teleporter, it's quick, easy, and you aren't dragon-sized so it should work for you. And if you have the specific coordinates of where you want to go, even better."

Re'Ni flipped what was left of the animal on the air too, but breathed fire as it was landing in her mouth. When she finished she was still sporting the same blissful look and silly smile while looking at Tec, but soon she shook her head a bit and licked his face off some remains... "Mmmm, have idea...  ehm, what place Tec's favourite? Self want see! ..and then would love bath with Tec."

-

The voice inside Xefr mumbled something vulgar and stopped.
Rysannox laughed a bit at Xefr's continuation of his joke, yet deep inside him he did feel a tad bit threatened in the case it wasn't a joke "Hahaha, well next time you better install a cannon, you never know when you might need to toss a steward of an empire in outer space!" he then adopts a more serious tone though.. "A teleporter it is then; Good. That would save us time ...If you could direct me in the continent of Urva, and Datha in particular, I would be much obliged." He brings up his telecom device and points on a map of Shyr the exact location  ..signified by various numerals on the side.

Tec grew quite embarrassed as Re'Ni finished her sentence, but quickly shook it off. Regaining his smile, he responded, "Well... I guess the obvious favorite would be my quarters. Though, I also like the Command Bridge and the Virtual Reality deck. They're all places I feel relaxed in, though I do doubt the bridge will be empty, or the VR deck. So, if you don't want to meet any of the Valorian crew, then I suppose those aren't good suggestions... But, that bath does sound nice..."

-

Xefr smiled, and nodded. "Very well then. I suppose we shall see each other once more when the preparations are made. Goodbye for now Rysannox, and I'll make sure to see if I can get that cannon for next time!" The Drake's eyes then flashed, and the Ghashyr was returned to Shyr.
Myst waited for the teleportation to finish, and then looked to Xefr. "So, you were going to explain what that Psionic presence within you is, correct? Because I'm sure you didn't think I wouldn't notice. That would be foolish, considering my job..." This caused Xefr to sigh, "Well, I suppose it was just a matter of time. And I guess I have been meaning to do this for quite a while, so here goes nothing. Ahem..." Xefr then looked up slightly, and shouted out, "Cui, get your tail over here!" The Drake then looked around a bit, seeing if anything happened.

Re'Ni seemed excited Tec liked her idea, but also a tad bit shy too.. {"Hehehm  ..perhaps bath then? Re'Ni love water ..underground lakes very big! ..and, hmm, better Tec and Re'Ni be alone"} As she says the last part of her sentence, she looks around awkwardly, though still smiling.

-

The adventurous middle-aged Ghashyr bureucrat finds himself again safely back home, rushing to his office to fix every crisis that has errupted during his absence and hoping that he will be given again the opportunity to explore ruins with Dragons.

When Xefr says the phrase, the tiny blue dragon materialises flying infront of him  ...she seems rather angry and displeased "AHHHRGH! Finally   ...to believe I had to endure the presence of that annoying non-Qoatl youngling without being able to tell him off! ..I thought you'd never allow me out! So, what is that you want Xery dear? Did you miss me, or want me to help you with something?  ...and Oooooh! A pleasure to meet you fellow handsome Spirit!" Cui smiles and makes a draconic wing-bowing in mid-air, by flapping her wings backwards and bowing her head for a mere second.

Tec was smiling, and then went into a state of thought, "Let's see... I doubt there are any lakes installed aboard this ship, thought there is the showers..." Then suddenly he brightened up and snapped his claws. "I got it! There aren't any lakes, but there is a pool, and a large one at that! I almost forgot about it, as Scout only recently made me install it. I was planning to remove it, since it served no purpose, but I think I just found one. And it would be empty, as Valorians only enjoy water when it's a drink, and everyone else doesn't use it that often. How about that?"

-

Myst bowed his head a bit, and then inspected Cui, "Greetings. You must be Cui, if what Essentials said is accurate. Call me Myst. Hm, you're interesting. Like a Shard, but not."
Xefr sighed, "Yes Mystic, this is Cui. She's a psionic artificial intelligence if I remember properly." The Drake then looked back to the spirit guardian, "And I apologize for that whole ordeal, Cui. Never got a good chance to get you out before now. Anyways, yes there is something you can help me with. You mentioned that I have to go somewhere called Zuan'Lotl, and that the way to find that place was looking inside myself. I'll have to say, I'm not sure how to do that. Advice?"
