The fighting ensues, with the squad of Baneseraphims wrecking havoc on the front lines. The Diyelirs instructed the Eifrvenzienian Resistance soldiers to make way for the Eteruan armies and try not get near their area-of-effect abilities. The Eirvenzienians agreed and formed instead into groups of support and covering fire.

Raionhato himself was leading the charge, organizing his men to provide as much support as needed for the foreign legion of death and destruction fighting alongside them. The Diyelirs coming from the three legions began their carnage, relentlessly slaughtering any identified any units upon their path. The Maulgrisentirians were pushed back to a staggering six miles from the neutral zone, losing over four million among their men after a mere five hour firefight. The invading forces mustered every arsenal known to them, in pursuit of pathetic efforts for to turn the tide the unexpected twists of events. The Diyelirs are now sending four more legions towards the very capital of Maulgrisentir.

Raionhato pressed onward with his men, morhping the very battelfield into a weapon. The very skies scream as air pressure crush enemy aircraft and the lungs of the unfortunate. The land boil as sinkholes trap battalions of Maulgrisentirians and cave in upon them, effectively crushing them. Fūjin Bolt's continue to rain down upon fortified positions, loosening them up enough for Raionhato's men to make a breakthrough. The Akusei finally reach up to his division as he and his allies make the final push to Maulgrisentir. Squads of Satori were air dropped to his line to help decimate any fortified areas of the capital. Three cloaked Chouetsugan were sent to infiltrate the capital to assassinate high ranking targets.

The three legions pressed onward, supported by the  massive artillery from the Baneseraphim reinforcements, together with the heavy strafing and glassing from the  Skyterror Dreadnoughts and Reaperwing Heavy Gunnerships. The Maulgrisentirian forces are pushed back at least twelve kilometers after a day of skirmishing, and almost sixteen million casualties were inflicted their side, with only about two hundred thousand being dead on the Eirfvenzienian's ranks. The Diyelirs tactically encircled the enemy in an arcing position, slowly terraforming the battlefield and providing a false exit on the right flank they position all their artillery there. The Eirfvezienians are instructed  to secure and overwhelm the left flank while they bombard the front lines and made sure that the Eteruans are also given the permission and free will to wreck havoc on the rear lines as well as doing their usual assassination and cutthroat tactics.

Meanwhile, the 34th Legion was called back to assist in the invasion of the Maulgrisentir Capitol, to aid the already present forces there. Lyrniux went together with them, personally organizing the charge on behalf of his brothers.

-MAULGRISENTIR, ALGATRANZ' WAR HALL-

Algatranz sat in the middle of the hall, full of his highest advisors and military leaders. He  is shouting at the top of his voice, cussing each and every one of them for their alleged "stupidity" in handling the situation in Irmigadeon, as well as undermining the arrival of Lyrniux and his unexpected reinforcements. Several shots will be heard, three among the men dying on the spot due to rain of gun shots aimed at their heads.

"Each one of you will face an equally brutal fate if these bastards and their space buddies will not be decimated within a day or two," he said, before pulling again the trigger, killing two more officers. "We understand, our leader!" the remaining men said in unison. Unmoved, but fear showing as a screaming soul from their horrified eyes. About an hour later, as Lyrniux was just about to arrive in the gates of the enemy, thousands of missiles were seen being launched in space. The trajectory? All going to Irmigadeon.

"Oh... no. Our troops!" is the only that muttered out of his mouth, for he knows what are those, and what ruin even a single one can provide.

In the midst of the firefight several squadrons of black, sleek Eteruan fighter jets were seen zipping bast the mountain peaks as they curve towards the cluster of missiles. Knowing what needs to be done the Dīpunetto division in the Eteruan back line hijacked the missile targeting system to make them go after the jets. Swinging to the front of the cluster the missiles began to chase down the jets who then began to climb upwards. As the jets rose to the stratosphere the missiles were getting close to hitting a few of the ships till the armada vanishes from sight, leaving the cluster of warheads to continue flying towards the outer atmosphere where it will eventually enter space.  The nearby Eteruan ships in low orbit began to fire their arsenal towards the cluster of war heads once it reach the height where any damage will be minimal as shock wave can't move in space. Down below the armies would see bright lights high in the sky

Meanwhile in the War Hall as Algatranz finishes killing those who failed him he would see other officers gasp at something behind him but he would be unable to turn around fast enough to stop a blade of metal bursting through his chest. Last thing he would hear is an alien voice speaking in an unknown language, <The God-Empress sends her regards>.  Before Algatranz body hit the floor the Chouetsugan quickly vanish without a trace.

Algatranz was left severely injured on his throne, blood gushing from the gaping wound made by the Chouetsugan assassin. He struggled to open the communicator device on his wrists, then sent a message to the radio control center.

"This... is... Algatranz. I command you... to... release... the... missiles." he said, heavily panting between his breaths, the sound of incoming rebels getting louder and louder. "Damn those... bastards, ugh! How are they able to... get here so fast!" he continued.

"Our lord, what happened?! We will send you reinforcements to get you out alive." responded the communication officer. "Don't mind me, I'm done for. So are you, and everyone... else. If we can't... win... this battle... nobody does.  Release it now!" he ordered. "Yes my lord! Where will the missiles be released?" the officer responded.

"EVERYWHERE." he said, and sounds of gunfire can be heard, Algatranz cursing as he made a defiant stand. After a few moments only the rebel's cheer can be heard. And the sound of missiles firing from all over Maulgrisentir. The missiles can be seen over Irmigadeon amidst the still-ongoing battle, the ruins of Kildanri and Eifrvenzien, all over the world. A strong concentration of the missile was seen, not above the terrified citizens of the largest population centers, but on a very particular place, a place that every men on that planet know what horrors could bring.

And then the explosions began.

Irmigadeon was spared by the combined might of the rebels together with the Diyelir troops and the Eteruans, the loud cheering of the rebels can be heard as they received the news that Algatranz was killed by their men. Some cities was hit by the missiles and was decimated in an instant. But unaware at the moment, dozens of those missiles struck what was called the "blight lands". The missiles struck the towering crystals there, prompting as a catalyst for a dangerous chain reaction that will change the lives of Eirfvenzienians and the people of that little, forsaken world... forever.

As missiles brought global ruin, Eteruan relief forces we deployed all over the to aid the wounded and dig up any survivors. Akane Chōshinsei, an Eteruan Bomber attempted to intercept the rockets along with many others but they could not reach the other rockets that were farther away fast enough. Raionhato along with his rebels marched into the throne room to find the tyrant dead on his throne. Looking around for any potential threats he slacked as he gave a sigh. "It's done, relay the news to the rest of the theater. We should redeploy to the areas hit to assist in medical care," He said to his comrades while doing another sweep of the room before exiting it to group up with his higher ups.

The crystals, called by the natives as "blightshards", are unstable, radioactive crystals formed after the complete glassing of the Eirfvenzienian homeworld hundreds of years ago, during the last periods of the Diyelir last stand against the Reaper onslaught. After a hundred years, these crystals formed entire mountainous regions along and below the equator of the planet. The crystals are highly contagious, and mutations often lead into gruesome deaths. However for some reasons, the people of that world slowly, albeit painfully, adapted into it, gaining their currently mutated forms.

And when the explosions happened, things got worse. Or horrifyingly better.

At the first hour upon the impact, toxic clouds of powderized blightshards, mixed with ash dusts from the triggered volcanic eruptions swept through the entire equator, unleashing a volley of mutations upon the panicking citizens. The crystals, unstable as it can be, proliferates like fungal spores, attaching into the ground and keeps on growing until it consumed a whole landmass for a relatively short period of time. A day after the equatorial explosions, a massive domino effect happened, with the blightshards rampaging across the whole world. The Diyelirs, while adept at environmental engineering, can't directly solve the problem as they're dealing not with organic matter, but with crystal overgrowths; the only thing that can be done is to stop it is to once again bombard the planet. But even that won't efficiently work. Even the Diyelirs themselves has to be taken out of the planet along with the Eteruans as the crystals can still pose a threat to them, even in their strongest state. Meanwhile, millions of Eteruans are dying on the planet, barely saved by the most advance medical advancements of their Diyelir kin. But the Diyelirs noticed something  great amidst the catastrophe.

Something more like a miracle.

The Eirfvenzienian's Ascendancy Genes, while helping them adapt to the current situation of their homeworld, is not fully activated yet. And they understand the reason why. In the earliest days of the Novashadow symbiosis integration, the adaptation level for the Diyelirs were slow yet constant, as they need to adapt every now and then to a certain dangerous trait or mutagen before they can be fully be empowered by it. As the Eirfvenzienians and the other natives are not fully exposed to those radioactive materials, they only received partial activation of the genes. But now, since the effect has been globally widespread.

A week after a war...

IRMIGADEON VALLEY FORTRESS

"My leader! Subject M4532 has been showing signs of stability upon exposure. The crystals are getting fully integrated in their cells, and their bio-blueprints are accepting the foreign crystals as part of their body systems. Mutations are now getting fully stabilized, and the subject's healthiest form was drastically changed to include a high resistance to radioactivity and flame, a hardened natural exo-skeleton made from the crystals itself, and high regeneration rate when exposed to the blightshards." one of the senior scientists said. "Good, progress then." Scheleina said, overseeing the project to help the natives.|

"What does it mean?" Lyrniux said, overhearing the situation. "It means that you're evolving. Congratulations, Marshall. You're now entering a new age, full of possibilities you never dreamed about!" Scheleina optimistically responded.
