well, before we decided to skip the war, i had already pulled back to act defensively for awhile, and i still had over 3/4 of my navy crew left. in addition, i had hired the mercs from gren, which means i could have gone for even longer.

furthermore, i was engaging in a very large Drone strike campaign against you, which would have caused very large damage to your industry and resources.

which brings me to something many of you seem to have forgotten: the material cost. your guys ships are much more expansive and resource intensive, so while you have destroyed more ships then i have, the cost to you, and your ability to replace them, could pose a chance to defeat you outright. at the very least, you guys face very large economic disruptions and depressions from the cost of the war by the time i ran out of ships, and you guys could start pushing into my own space. while on the other hand, i went through very large stockpiling, and can produce my own war materials at a much lower relative cost, meaning any damage to my own economy would be at very worst minor, at least until the second phase when you were on the offensive.
