As the Ghashyr imperial battlecruiser enters Formic space they are meet by 4 Formic Battleships. An Overseer answers the hail.

Overseer: “ Welcome Lord Balmox & Lady Dynasa, Yes you may proceed, We will send escorts with you.”

Several 2 Battleships escorted the Ghashyr Battlecruiser to the capital Rith’Essa. As the Imperial Battlecruiser enters Rith’Essa’s atmosphere the battleships drop back & return to their posts. Zagara, Vyloth, & several drones greeted the Ghashyr.

Zagara: “Welcome Lord Balmox, it is good to see you, this is my oldest daughter Vyloth, she will be working with you to design your hive chambers. Our Diyelian allies have been teaching us about mechanical technologies, so your chambers will be more biomechanical then most.”

“Lady Dynasa welcome, The court trial will start in a days, if you don’t mind I would like you to clarify some confusion we have had concerning various Ghashyr laws, & present the charges from a Ghashyrs view point.”   

“Also, I don’t want you to be alarmed, the A’Klik have joined our empire, you will know them as the Fysha, several of them had become sentient on Marga, you will see some of their Queens during the trial.”

Zagara gave Balmox & Dynasa a tour of the capital city, The massive networks of organic buildings gleamed in the sun light, Drones could be seen rapidly crawling up & down building & across what could only be assumed to be highways & roads.   

Suddenly 5 Brood Maidens stealthily walked up next to the Ghashyr  speaking among themselves.

"So these are Ghashyr, they look so wierd, they have claws like Diyelians, scales like reptiles, & feather like fuzz on their heads, ssshhhhh they'll her us, their not psionic are they?, wonder what its like with only two legs, seems exhausting & really slow with only 2, why do all our allies wear metal & cloth things seems limiting."

Ulrezgal, Kilysa’s lover & father of her brood received a package from Ghashyr space for Kilysa. He walked up to his Queen who was holding their first Queen hatchling. The little larvae had 4 small spikes on her forehead & squirmed around while Kilysa held her. 
Kilysa was surprised & very excited to receive a gift from Ghashyr territory. She had been stressed lately with preparing her case for her trial so a gift would be much welcome.
 
Kilysa picks up the metal box first, as she does so Myranda’s holographic message starts. Kilysa nearly flew in the air out of joy in seeing her friend, & finds herself talking along with the hologram.

“Ill be better once all this is over, yes ancient Formic laws can be odd, wow Remelax has certainly developed since I left, I can’t believe they made a statue of me.”

Kilysa was feeling renewed, encouraged, & very joyful once again after watching the hologram. She knew what she did was right, she only needed to let her mom & sisters see. She did not know how the trial would turn out but she was ready for it.

Ulrezgal: “Looks like im not the only one who knows how amazing you are.”

 
 As Kilysa picked up the cute plushie, the Queen larvae tried to bit it but Kilysa kept her from doing so. Placing the plushie in an almost secure place Kilysa picks up the letter & starts deciphering it based on her memories of looking into Myranda’s mind when they first meet.

Vyloth to Balmox: “It is an honour to meet you Lord Balmox, I am not familiar with Ghashyr ways, so you will be helping me learn as well. In the meantime come with me I will show where you will be staying temporarily.”

Vyloth lead Balmox to a peculiar structure that was in the down town area of the capital city.

While Balmox temporary home seemed coccon like on the outside, the inside had various mechanical features integrated into the organic components.
Vyloth: “This is a new structure type we are developing, as you see there are many mechanical features, the idea is to create buildings that our allies will feel more comfortable with & be able to operate without psionics.”

Zagara: “Indeed it is not joyful, & yes such conditions are not ideal for meetings. I will pay the fine myself as Kilysa will be busy enough with her punishment. I do have 1 question, I have been made aware that there are Frontier laws, which seem to have influenced my daughters decisions, but I need to know the difference between the laws of Shyr & the Frontier laws & how they compare in conflicting situations before I decide what Kilysa’s punishment shall be.

Kilysa had mixed feelings after reading the letter, she was happy to have been able to help her friends as much as she did, but she also felt like she had unfinished business thinking of planet Lyr. She turns to Ulrezgal & the embrace each other.

-----2days Later----

Deep underground rested the court chamber. The chamber was round with a dome like ceiling, its structure was like stadium seating with a stage in the center. Each seat was like a large circular pad made of soft comfortable moss like cushions. Every Formic & A’Klik Queen in Nuzeikurga was present. Usually with such cases only Queens & Brood Fathers were allowed to participate in & witness a court trail, but this case was unique & unprecedented.
Zagara & Duramir were the first ones in the chamber. Zagara took her position in the largest seat that was considard the front of the chamber. Lady Dynasa was lead to a seat on Zagara’s left, while all A’Klik Queens sat on her right, Balmox was lead to a seat among the Brood Fathers in a section close to the platform & several meters from Zagara’s left, the other Formic Queens all took what ever positions they wanted to sit in.
Kilysa walks in shortly after everyone gets settled & the trial begins.

In the time leading up to the trial Zagara had been examining the Canestalk Queens body in her personal science chamber taking organic material & dna samples. Afterwards she formed 2 Chrysalis’s infusing the samples she took from the Canestalk Queen’s body Along with her own dna & chrymerion dna. She then placed the chrysalises in a spawning pool to germinate. Afterwards she went back & forth between teaching the A’Klik & checking on the Chrysalis’s. The A’Klik showed great promise in training, in time one of their descendants may became Swarm Queen.

Vyloth to Balmox: “That is entirely up to you, if you like I can have a unit of our drones to accompany you. Also there are Chyrmerions & Diyelians that visit frequently. We have some time before the trial, we can start designing & building a chamber for you when your ready.”

----a few hours later-----

Vyloth took Balmox in a pecular illusion, they were standing in a large plain with short grass, behind Vyloth several constructs started growing out of the ground, some were Formic & some chrymerion.

“Now just think of a construct you like & ill have it grow with all the details you want, after we get the design down we will go over what material you want to use for it & a location.”

Zagara to Dynasa: “I see, yes I believe I understand fully now, thank you Lady Dynasa. I am grateful that the charges were dropped, but ancient Formic laws are strict regarding such things, but I will be changing that. I think Kilysa will understand well, Thank you again.”

Zagara looks over at the Brood Maidens & then back at Dynasa: “if you will excuse me there is something I must tend to, but I will have my granddaughters over there show to your chamber, I will check on you & Lord Balmox in a few hours.”

As Zagara walked away the 5 Brood Maidens, Formic Queens barely 2 meters tall who just started their pupal age, ran up & introduced themselves, speaking quickly & excitedly. 

 “Lady Dynasa it is nice to meet you, I am Anumari Vyloth’s oldest.”

“Im Duvana, Vyloths youngest”

“Im Zamira of Hive Rokarr”

“Gankri, I hall from Queen Unar”

“I am Orthula, Lafash, it is nice to meet you Lady Dynasa.”

Anumari: “Please follow us.”

The Brood maidens lead Lady Dynasa to a similar set of Hive chambers as the one Balmox was lead to.

As soon as everyone was quite Zagara stood up & then everyone else, she looked at Kilysa a moment before proceeding:

“I Zagara Swarm Queen of the second Formic Empire formally known as Nuzeikurga here by initiate the second trial witnessed under the Nuzeikurgan Empire, all maybe seated as we begin.”

Zagara slowly sits before speaking again.

“The events in question took place while diplomatic treaties were being established Between the Nuzeikurgan Empire & the Talmyrox of Taurgha. The original charges against Kilysa were as such: theft of foreign imperial property, breaking an agreement with Talmyr Myrsa concerning the device in question, & fleeing causing more unrest. These charges have been reduced to a Capital Insult due to events that occurred between Talmyr Myrsa & myself. Know that you have heard the charges against you, you may present your case explaining your actions & the reasoning behind them.”

Kilysa has a stern stance about her as she presented:

“As most already know I was researching & studying planet Remelax & found that the fire storms on the planet were generated by an ancient Ghashyr device that was used to scourge & poison several planets. After finding the device I was granted permission to keep the device by Lord Ator who owns planet Remelax. I refused to deliver the device because the imperial Ghashyr knew of these devices that continue to scourge some of the Frontier’s worlds & never did anything to help their fellow Ghashyrs planets heal, so I thought it was better to take the device instead of giving it to those whose ancestors created them, so I confess to the crimes charge against me & wish to proceed with the declaration of punishment.” 
Zagara: “Never the less Kilysa, it is not Formic’s place to meddle in the affairs of another empire, every species has periods were they must learn from mistakes of their ancestors. Your actions nearly destroyed our treaty agreement & most of all put Rynza as well as myself in a most compromising situation. While while Talmyr Myrsa has dropped the charges, Ancient Formic laws do not allow such when one confesses to the charges, nor do they allow the deeds of another to affect the trial. so I am going to do two things. First is issue your punishment.”

Zagara takes a deep breath & waits a few moments:

“Very well, Kilysa I hereby sentence you to Hegogi.”

All the Formic Queens started speaking in surprised tones trying to understand why their mom would place such a sentence.

Niadra: “Mother is just a thing necessary, none of us have ever faced such a punishment.”

Unar: “ I didn’t think mom would do that.”

Lafash: “I think theres more to this.”

Taknul was silent but had a very worried look on her face.

Rokarr: “Mother are you sure of such a punishment.”

The A’Klik were asking the Formic Queens what was going on.

Vyloth: “Mother I must protest, the Ghashyr have dropped their charges shouldn’t we.”

Zagara: “Calm down everyone, this will be no ordinary Hegogi. First ill explain Hegogi for those who do not know of it. Hegogi is a trial for Queens who have committed crimes, this trial is meant for a Queen to prove themselves & reclaim their Honour. Usually in Hegogi a Queen & her Brood are temporarily banished from the Swarm for several years, but this one will be different. Kilysa your primary objective is to take back the device to the Ghashyr territory & help stabilize the effects of your actions. You & your brood may return as soon as your finished.”

“Now in modifying Kilysa’s sentence I know I have broken Formic laws, so the second thing I shall do as soon as Kilysa finishes her trial is to initiate Agnortet.”

Everyone in the room was shocked & silent at first then all manner of discussion went on for alittle while before calming down again.

Zagara: “Agnortet is known as the Battle of Queens. It is a series of trials used to determine who will be named Swarm Queen, whoever the Swarm Queen is afterwards can rewrite any & all laws & even create a system for amendments unlike the old laws. I do this because when I was chosen to carry on our species legacy I swore to up hold all the old laws, but we live in a different era in formic history & the laws of our ancestors need to be modified to include more modern items & our A’Klik family. So when the time is right we will start Agnortet”.

“Now back to you Kilysa, in Hegogi a Queen maybe given three gifts to help her in her task. The first I present to you is this.”

A Brood drone comes in through a side entrance carrying the Delta Unit that was attached to Myrsa & hands it to Kilysa.

“I present this Delta Unit to you, you have certainly grown up, & though you do not own a planet as a proper Hive Warden you have earned it none the less, the second & third gifts will be presented to you later.”

----Back on Shyr-----

In the Moonlit Garden under a Crying Tree, a massive burst of visible psionic energy was exerted from the Formic cocoon, anyone with even faint psionic ability would feel the energy. The **** open slowly & Rynza stepped out examining her new body. Being naked with soft skin was very weird for her, after a few minutes her natural armour activated covering everything except her hands, feet, & Head. At 3.8 meters tall she was short compared to Chrymerions but may seem intimidating to others. She started walking around to see if anyone was close by. 

----Rith’Essa----

Vyloth to Balmox: “When they return from training im sure you will be spending quite a bit of time with them. Ah yes ill share with you some data on each.”

Vyloth slowly transferred a few memories of the Chrymerions & Diyelians appearance along with general data on their physical traits.
 
----a few hours later-----
As Balmox imagined the Halls of Estyana, Vyloth constructed every detail of the building she looked at in his memories.
“It may take some time to get the details right but I think we can build something like this for you, are there any other features you would like?”

Kilysa grasped the delta unit with mixed emotions, she was happy to get to see her Ghashyr friends & finish her work with them, but she had never been cut off from the swarm before, also curious enough her mother was far more vague then usually.

Zagara stands up to address everyone:

“I would implore you all to train well, I will personally train the A’Klik for the Agnortet, & I suspect the Krith Queens will be participating as well, this should prove to be a most exciting Agnortet in formic history. Now are there any further questions before I end this trial?”   

The Iron A’Klik had a slight smirk on her face, thinking to herself that she would soon rule over the whole swarm. She started thinking of reforging her crown she left back on Yat.

Tree A’Klik: “We shall further ascend to be like our non-spirit cousins.”

Fungus A’Klik: “Thyn Battle of Queenth, I thall prove thath Tree wath only lucky lath thime.”

Tree A’Klik: “Ha, victory shall still be mine.”

A brief & playful pincher battle proceeds between to 2 rivals.

The Mountain Queens seems deep in thought: {Tha Queens Battle will be good ta test ma new powers, first one im gonna beat down is that gutless limpwing.}

Much conversation went on aloud & psionically concerning the decision of Kilysa’s punishment.

Vyloth to Zagara: {Mother please tell me why you have chosen Hegogi.}

Zagara: {Kilysa needs to learn to be alittle more cunning, plus I want to test her, her powers are growing rapidly & they are untested, this will be good for her in the long run.}

After all conversation stopped Zagara ended the trial. As they walked out of the chamber Zagara spoke to Lady Dynasa & Balmox:

“We will be leaving for Shyr soon, Rynza should have hatched by now so we will commence her Onikohei, I believe Sivtress & Tarakith will be joining us as well.”

Shyr, Mourning Halls palace, the Moonlit Quarters...

Rynza stopped as she spotted Nevihdor, he seemed different to her, there were unfamiliar emotions & hormones triggering, then she slightly panicked when he said smoking.

“What im smoking, like on fire.”
 
 She started looking around at herself & then turned her back to Nevihdor & retracted her armour to see if something was wrong revealing her body, then suddenly she realized what he meant, so she looked back at him with a seductive look on her face & slowly active her armour. She then slowly walked over to him & stopped about half a meter away.

“Thank you, your much cuter then I remember, well I suppose I should go cleanse myself before we finish the tour yes.”

Vyloth stops the illusion once she knows what to have her drones build:

“Im not certain what a lightning ball is but Ill see what we can do, what you experienced is an advanced illusion that I’m able to generate using psionic abilities. Now ill go have my drones start on your hive, or home as you call it. Ill leave one of my Overseers & a few soldier drones here to assist you, feel free to explore but do not go outside the city just yet, we will need to make sure our defences recognize you as a friend otherwise they may try to eat you. I have a few things to attend to but ill be back to collect you for the trial.”

Zagara gave a slight bow back.

“Yes Lady, im sure we will meet again, ill have my drones will help you pack & carry your things.”

After Lady Dynasa leaves for Shyr Zagara turns to Balmox:

“I must go meet with Kilysa, but we will be leaving for Shyr in a few hours, you may go with us if you wish or if you want to stay that’s fine as well.”

The A'Klik eyed the Ghashyr with suspension, they were not ready to trust any Grey devil looking creature.

Zagara meet with Kilysa:

Kilysa: “Mom you didn’t have to break the law for me, & I hope you know I will not give the Ghashyr home worlders the device.”

Zagara: “It wasn’t just for you my dear, & yes I know that, now for your remaining 2 gifts. The second gift is a support & utility vessel that was built initially by Taknul, but I helped add a few capabilities to it. It was built to be able to terraform planets more drastically then the spawning shrubs, the changes we made were based on the Diyelians terraforming technology, I trust it will be helpful in your mission. The last gift, I will allow you to have access to the Fengorn Crawlers even though you are not a Hive Warden yet. Your Hegogi will start soon, please be careful.”

They both hug for a few moments before Kilysa went to finish packing her hive. She borded her new flag ship with the modified Ghashyr device & took many Fengorn Crawlers with her.

Kilysa’s fleet slowly made its way out of Nuzeikurgan space & then warped to Remelax. As her Hive warps to Remelax Kilysa activates her Delta Unit & is surprised that there is already data inside concerning a infected Ghashyr & some sort of Virus. Someone had previously owned this unit but who, & why did they give it up.

Zagara sent a message to Diyelian space for the Krith to meet them on Shyr for Rynza’s celebration. All remaining Queens pack 3 Hive Carriers & warp to Shyr.

Rynza gazes at the wooden figure as Nevihdor hands it to her:
“Nevihdor this is beautiful, no one has ever made such a thing for me, how did you grow this?”

--Meanwhile in Rith’Essa--

Vyloth inspects telecom image of the lightning ball:

“Very interesting, we will see if we can create something similar for you, perhaps a lightning drone of sorts, in the meantime ill see if one of my energy harvesters can power your devices through our integrated system.”

Zagara to Balmox: “Ah yes that’s right, I must be getting old forgetting such a detail, very well ill have the Krith drones & one of the overseers keep you company until we return, the Krith drones are sentient to some extent so I hope they will give you adequate conversation, Taknul & Niadra will be overseeing all operations from their worlds so if you need them have the overseer contact them.”

The A’Klik where settling in their new home Rith’Eykhan in the Khamul’Dorr System where Taknul & Niadra have their planets.
Zagara taught them how to create several advanced building types for their new hives. Also she was working on 2 new drone types for them. Upon her return she will start teaching them how to grow or create space vessels.

In the spawning pool in Zagara’s scientific chamber the contents within the 2 chrysalis were germinating quickly & showed great promise, Zagara’s chief overseer kept an ever watchful eye on them monitoring their progress.

--Remelax--

Kilysa left her fleet in orbit as her main battleship lands, she was very excited to see her friends again, though she wished it was under better circumstances. She was happy to see the planet making tremendous progress in healing, she was also very surprised so many people came to greet her.
Kilysa & Ulrezgal walked out greeting everyone feeling happy that she could help the Ghashyr return to their home.
Spotting Miranda Kilysa runs up to her: “Thank you Miranda its so good to see you again, I see you have some new armour, when you get a chance I have several things I need to discuss with you concerning the results of my trial & the other afflicted frontier worlds. Where are the others?”

---Shyr---

The other Krith ship from Diyel space meets Zagara’s fleet before they enter Ghashyr space.

Zagara: “ It is good to see you doing well Talmyr, I shall see you shortly.”

Zagara’s Battleship lands at the central Astrodrome.

Zagara along with Vyloth, Rokarr, Unar,  Lafash & the Krith greeted Myrsa.

Zagara: “It is good to see you again Talmyr Myrsa, this is my oldest daughter Vyloth, & these are the twins Unar & Lafash.”

Rokarr: “Good to see you again Talmyr.”

Vyloth: “Its an honour to meet you, mother has told me much about you.”

Unar: “I must say you look like a warrior Queen, my kind of Queen.”

Lafash: “Unar don’t be rude, Greetings Talmyr Myrsa.”

The Krith bow respectfully toward Myrsa. Sivtress looks around trying to see who all is present.

Zagara: “Now where is Rynza, we should start preparing before the celebration starts, we need to see which males will be participating.”
