Title: Speed & Distances
Post by: Chrymerion Imperius on September 11, 2015, 04:12:37 pm
The following chart shows the speed traveling in Warp Numbers followed by how long at that speed that it would take to travel the galaxy from one edge to the other. The third set of numbers is to travel one large grid square at the same speed.

Warp 1- 1536 Days to travel the galaxy or 51.2 days per large grid square
Warp 2- 768 Days to travel the galaxy or 25.6 days per large grid square
Warp 3- 384 Days to travel the galaxy or 12.8 days per large grid square
Warp 4- 192 Days to travel the galaxy or 6.4 days per large grid square
Warp 5- 96 Days to travel the galaxy or 3.2 days per large grid square
Warp 6- 48 Days to travel the galaxy or 1.6 days per large grid square
Warp 7- 24 Days to travel the galaxy or .8 days per large grid square
Warp 8- 12 Days to travel the galaxy or .4 days per large grid square
Warp 9- 6 Days to travel the galaxy or .2 days per large grid square
Warp 10- 3 Days to travel the galaxy or .1 days per large grid square

The Galaxy is 100,000 Light Years in width (Or is 30,674.84631901839 Parsec)
One large grid square is 3,333.3333 Light Years in size (Or is 1,022.494877300613 Parsec)
One Parsec is 3.26 Light Years
One Light Year is 63,239.7263 Astronomical Units
One AU is 149,597,871 Kilometers
