Chrymerion- The fleet of Chrymerion ships enter the galaxy and the inhabitants of the ships begin waking from their cryo-stasis. Having traveled through deep space as refugee's from an ongoing war in their home galaxy. Their home world and entire sphere of influence obliterated by a still unknown species that thrived on battle and carnage. The last surviving mother ship, the "Haedron Cassiopeia" carries the last of the royal family. As they wake to a new galaxy, the Chrymerions begin scanning the sector in hopes of finding a habitable world that they can rebuild on. They know that without a world to inhabit, they are defenseless in the long run. None of their ships are suitable as in flight repair stations. An unknown amount of time has passed since they set out on their voyage.
Chrymerion- By a stroke of luck, the Chrymerion fleet finds a solar system compatible to their needs. A strange 12 planet system near the outer edges of the galaxy has one planet that is perfect for their physiology and offers rich nutrients and minerals in the whole system. They move into the system and quickly begin doing close scans and aerospace searches
Diyel- Meanwhile, while cruising the space for signs of Reaper life or signals, The Grand Fleet manage to find another one: a weak signal coming from what it seems like an unknown one. The signal is emanating from the Star-system nearby, and it looks like the signal is coming from one of the planets in the system. Thinking it would be Reapers in hiding or remnants of the indoctrinated sentients, the Meritocratic Marines rushed forward towards the signal.
Chrymerion- The Meritocratic Marines would detect the Chrymerion ships much earlier than the Chrymerions would them. Many of the fleets systems are damaged due to their unknown duration in cryo-stasis (In reality close to 3000 years have passed since they fled their galaxy. Their ships absorbing light to use as power as well as dust & debris that it came across.). They would see the ships in orbit over the 3rd planet except for the ones running scans over the other planets. A few ships have landed on the 3rd planets surface and have set up a rudimentary base/community in order to help determine if they will settle here. The royal family is still on board their mothership monitoring everything as well as their sensors.
Diyel- The Meritocratic Marines spotted the ships, immediately sending a communication signal with hopes of revealing who the unknown species are. Message has been relayed and was immediately sent to the species. Ships were being loaded with full ammunition just in case the species were hostile if not the Reapers or remnants of the so-called "Indoctrinated Sentient".
Chrymerion- On board the mothership, the Queen and the Captain of her royal guard are watching the coms as a strange language comes over their radio. Looking at one another, they talk amongst themselves but decide to respond. The Captain stands in the com area and responds in a very deep and echoing voice

(Translated- Greeting unknown species. I am Royal Fleet Commander Shivak of the Chrymerion Imperius. We come here as refugees from our home world which was destroyed by an unknown enemy that thrived on destruction and carnage. We come in peace.)
The man is broadcast on visual and audio channels in case the recipient is able to do face to face
Diyel- The Commander of the Grand Fleet receives the reply from the species. After decoding and translating the language, they responded back, into their proud and noble-mannered voices as usual.
"Cleömew! Dör ör nuo nurd yur galkzy frïjhiët. Dën ve ru Mürtokroëtez Hajmïeyn ri Düiell Grendiüz. Ve arzu koüm ne fizt. Hu zïd hu ör koümen mürf e galkzy fruwei, errcüt? Ör hu genktnig weyi mürf ent anïrhilyatz spükzie clodd "Reapers"? (Translated as: "Welcome! You are now under the wings of our galaxy. We are the Meritocratic Hegemony of Diyel Grandiose. We're also coming in peace. You said you are coming from a galaxy faraway, right? Are you getting away from an annihilating species called "Reapers?")
Chrymerion- The Chrymerions run the incoming message through their translation program as well as the original message. After about fifteen minutes they get a translation and a 75% understanding of the language
"Greetings to the Meritocratic Hegemony of Diyel Grandiose. We are honored to meet you. On behalf of the Shinning Queen and her ancestors, I bid you a thousand welcomes. That is correct. We hail from a far off galaxy. We've traveled unknown amount of time to escape a ravaging race that was devouring life in our home galaxy. The race is unknown to us but they seem to crave and love destroying and bringing carnage to others. We're the last of our race...and galaxy as far as we know. The name Reapers is unknown to us but that is what they did. Reaped our galaxy of life and resources."
Diyel- With the help of the translators from both ends, the Meritocratic Hegemony replied to the new-found friendlies.
"We experience the same way. The only difference is that we managed not just to survive, but preserve our own home world as well. But the we paid that with the price of living in world caged in a wall where no one gets in or gets out. A prison cloaked in a beautiful paradise. For 500 years we are trapped, hoping that one when we manage to break free, we would still be able to find our Allies. It seems surprising that we find you first instead. Don't worry, we'll help you in Terra-forming the planet base on your suitability."
Chrymerion- "You were trapped in a paradise for a long time. Just as we have been sleeping as our ships traveled through the space between galaxies. If your allies survive, you will find them. It is inevitable. Thank you for the offer to assist in terraforming but our battleship has a central chamber that turns its planet buster cannon into a terraforming generator. Our sensors and initial readings show that the third planet is suitable for our species and will allow maximum growth potential. It is the only one we have but thankfully we only need the one. One moment." and a couple minutes go by "Our Queen invites you to join her for dinner in four planetary rotations if you so wish."
Diyel- We would be happy to do so!
Chrymerion- "Excellent. We will send you coordinates to the hangar bay when your transport heads to the mothership. The meal is in precisely four planetary rotations. Till then, is there anything your people need?"
Diyel- "Nah, nothing more than a dock. We would need to stay for a while, partly due to possibly scanning for other possible life forms, and the other one for assistance and protection for you as well since you are a newcomer to the Galaxy."
Chrymerion- "Any of our Basestar's (The massive city sized ships in the fleet) will be able to dock your ships. Select one and I will make sure that they know to expect you."
Diyel- And do you have a space dock for a 30 km-long Superweapon-carrying Titan Mothership-FlagCarrier?
Chrymerion- He looks down at something and reaches out like he's doing something on a console. "Yes. The HiR'Tchkito. I'm sending you the co-ordinates now" and he broadcasts the co-ordinates to this..."

"The bottom has a docking ring that will accommodate you. It's a Battleship and Dreadnought Carrier."
Diyel- "Sounds cool! By the way we are looking for a race of sentient ponies known as Gorthians, which descended from the pre-war civilization known as Fillash,and the one who created an alliance called Galactic Federacy centuries ago. Other than that I'm also looking for the remnants of Spacian Unity, Drayxaso and the other pre-war civilizations.
Chrymerion- "We....haven't seen anything like a...pony?" he looks and sounds a little confused "Have any of you dispatched sub-space relays? If there is a sub-space relay system in place in the galaxy you could easily contact the other species." he messes with something in front of him and sends you an image of this...

"If not, we can assist in their construction. It would take some time but their implementation would allow for real time communication throughout the galaxy."
Diyel- "Ow, I'm sorry. Due to the previous crisis that we had, all of our inter-galactic communication satellites has been completely destroyed. Luckily, we still have the blueprints even though we're starting from the scratch. We managed to send out a bunch of 'em and that's how we received your DNA signal. And the good news about this one is, we are detecting a familiar DNA signal .. well .. DNA signals. It's emanating from a star-system about 65 million L.Y. away from here. If you want, you can send a group of emissaries to come with us. I think we have located the Fillashians- or Gorthians, whoever became the remnants, along with the survivors of Spacian Unity."
Meanwhile, inside the communication center aboard the Appolyon - the Hegemony's flag-carrying Titan-Mothership-, the scientists have detected weak DNA signals. DNA signals coming from familiar species. "Commander," said one of the leaders, " We managed to detect signs of sentient life somewhere in a star-system about 65 million L.Y. apart from our current location. DNA matching shows that it's somewhat corresponds to a quadrupedal, pony-like species. Must be a remnant of Fillash or Gorthias. The other one, though somewhat matches with the Kerbals- survivors of one of our pre-war Allies called Spacian Unity."
"Good." the commander said. "We must go there as soon as possible. We need to gather Allies as soon and much as we can. Send diplomats to the Chrymerions. Tell them that we are leaving and that they can bring emissaries along with us to meet our long-gone neighbors. And give me the coordinates. We will dispatch as soon as we can."
The lead researcher nods, "Yes, Commander. We'll send it to you right away." The commander leaves the communications center with high hopes of uniting with their allies once again.
"Just a little longer, my brothers. We are coming back." he said before sending a relay message back to the homeworld.
Chrymerion- The Chrymerion soldier looks to his right and nods then looks back at the screen "That is acceptable. We will send one of our Basestar ships. This is the ship..." and he sends the co-ordinates to a chrome colored Basestar which is slowly moving towards your ships. "Prince Hi'toR is on board the Acolyte and he will speak for us."
(Drayxaso appears)-President Ex appears in the room. "Care if I join you?" He says, and takes a seat.
Chrymerion- When he appears and says that, close to two dozen guards aim their weapons at him having not expected someone to just teleport onto the bridge. Standing to the right and front of the man is a female, dressed in a dark blue sheer dress and wearing gold jewelry. As the man is about to draw his sidearm, she grabs his arm gently "It is not good form to arrive on someones bridge uninvited sir." she says in a deep and echoing tone.
Diyel- The Emissaries from the Hegemony stood silent, still startled by the sudden appearance of the unidentified species. But one of them suddenly recognize the somewhat familiar face. "He's an Iconian descendant. Judging by his over-all appearance, he must be a Drayxasoan, from the Stellar Republic known in our records as Drayxaso.", one of them said. "Good guess, my friend. You must be a very bright scholar among your species." replied the man, albeit sarcastic, in a deep and almost bellowing voice.
"Hold your grounds, my dear ally.", said the Emissary leader. "Let the uninvited guest speak. He may be an ally. Otherwise, he's an indoctrinated sentient." the Chrymerion soldiers stood still, their guns still pointing at the creature. "Introduce yourself. Or prepare to dig your own grave."
Chrymerion- The Chrymerion guards don't fire but keep their rifles and blaster spears aimed. The Queen and her general remain neutral, waiting for this alien to answer the question put to him.
Drayxaso- President Ex is unphased. "First, your weapons cannot harm me. Second, I am, an Iconian, not a descendant."
He lowers his voice. "The Federacy is still not stable. We have to take careful steps, or a civil war could ensue. I believe the reapers have a foothold somewhere in the region. I suggest we tread lightly."
Chrymerion- The Queen steps in front of her guards "We've never heard of you or your kind. Iconian, Reaper...they're all t he same to us at this moment. If you think these Reapers have a foothold in this region, then I suggest you use your transporter or whatever it is that you used to bypass our shields and find them. We are in no position to be spreading our numbers thin looking for some mysterious species. We're joining our new friends in looking for other races with a single ship. We need to and we will focus on our rebuilding our culture here in this system." she nods to someone at a computer and they get busy working on something. "If you wish to be on friendly terms Iconian, then I suggest you approach us with a measure of respect." and she stands there looking at this intruding alien who has shown disrespect and arrogance, unsure as to what to make of it.
Drayxaso- Ex looks down. "I probably should've thought that out better. I enjoy dramatic entrances."
Diyel- "Iconians. As always, they love to pop out of nowhere.", the lead of emissaries said as the others just shrugged their shoulders as they thought about it.

The Queen- "So it seems they do. This still does not explain why it appeared on our bridge? Why not send the message over a communications channel? Or beacon? It could have sent it via telepathy for all we care." *sighs*

Drayxaso- "It?! I am completely offended. Yes, I screwed up, but IT!" Ex is furious. "In all the universe, it seems the only thing constant is rasisum." Ex disappears in a flash.

The Queen goes to the sensors officer "Did you get a reading of the area when he left?" the officer nods "Yes my Queen. We're analyzing the data now. It will be some time before anything useful is determined however. The individual is of an unknown species and the energy used is as well. But given enough time, I am sure the computers can come up with useful data." she smiles slightly "Good." and she walks back to her original spot and looks at her Guard then the communications screen "I'm sorry if that individual was a ally of you and or your species. However, we needed to collect data on him and his energy used. Please express my apologies for my rudeness. If he ever wishes to speak again, simply send us a hail and I would be more than welcoming." and she gives a slight bow with her right fist over her chest.

Diyel- "Now THAT escalated quickly," one the emissaries while trying to hold their laughter as long they can.
"Nothing to worry about your highness. Based on our old records, they REALLY love to pop out of nowhere. It's like a culture to them so yeah, no worries." the Leader of the Emissaries said in response. "If you don't mind your highness, we will get back to our flagship to convey the message that you will go along with us. If our assumptions are correct, the Iconians are probably going into the signal coming from the Gorthians and Kerbals. We should head there as soon as we can." With the similar way of salute of placing the right hand on their chest, they bid goodbye to the Chymerions and head back to the Appolyon.

The Queen- "I don't understand what it is upset for. You, they, it, them...they are all descriptive words for individuals are they not?" The Queen looks a little confused.
"They like popping out of nowhere? Interesting. That could be quite dangerous and cause problems. By all means. Inform us of when we depart and the coordinates that the ship will be heading to." The Queen gives the salute again and bids the guests farewell

Diyel- "We will depart within 1 solar rotation, your highness." The last thing the leader said before going back to the Appolyon.

The Queen informs the ship that will be going to make ready to depart and to follow the lead of the new allies leader. The Prince has full authority to negotiate treaties with any race they encounter.

Diyel- The Meritocratic Grand Fleet departed towards the signal, bidding last goodbye to their new-found Allies. With high hopes in their hearts, they set sail to the vastness of the deep space. "Our mission is almost fulfilled," the Commander of the Fleet said... "may the Celestials bless us in our expedition."

The immense Chrymerion vessel shifts from being chrome colored to being reflective black right before entering FTL. The ship following close behind the Grand Fleet. The Prince sitting in the captains chair as it speeds forward. The crew remaining calm as they follow their new friends to unknown lands. Their sensors all full and active.

Diyel-The Fleet encircles the Ambassador Fleet of the Chrymerions to protect them. Everyone was placed on a cryogenic status while in the hyperdrive.

Most of the brain shuts down in cryo-sleep, all but the primitive side. In cryo-sleep Zagara & the other Queens could still feel each other, their drones, & the Hive Carriers. Their minds drifted together though previous ages, memories passed down from mother to daughter all the way back to the first 2 Queens who started working together.
The Hive Carriers started recharging, a star must be near by, slowly, surely the Queens & their drones awakened as the carriers powered up & systems animated back to life. They had arrived at a new galaxy, the Star system they came upon was strange. They had never seen a Star System with 12 planets. The Queens started collecting data on each planet they passed trying to find optimal conditions.

The Chymerion fleet is primarily orbiting the third planet. Hundreds of large capital ship sized city ships and mobile bases orbit it. Throughout the system, hundreds of smaller craft buzz around the solar system scanning the planets. Their sensors still not fully operational, they are scanning their immediate surroundings only. Then at the 7th planet, the survey craft (http://orig05.deviantart.net/b179/f/2015/238/0/8/reconnaissance_by_dracoguard2014-d977np6.jpg) see an incoming ship that they don't recognize.
7th Survey Commander- "By the great Engineer, what is that? HiT'kII, get the Mothership on the com. They need to see this."
The Survey Commander's communications officer contacts the Mothership and patches the images through to it "They're seeing it Commander"
On the Mothership, the Queen and all the bridge crew are seeing the incoming ship on their monitors and holo projections.
Queen- "Open and broadcast on all frequencies and send the translator program through it as well."
Com Officer- "Frequency open my Queen"
Queen- "Unknown vessel. This is Queen MiiR'kIthkit of the Chrymerion Imperium. You've entered Chrymerion space. State the nature of your presence here." she then waits for a response as she nods to the Captain of the guard who orders the Imperium's vessels to retreat to the third planet and form a defensive line. All battle ready ships are to move forward to the fifth planet to intercept the incoming ship if need be. Weapons are not charged or targeting yet.

The First Hive carrier stops at the 6th planet the 2nd carrier comes next to the first & stops.
The Formic Queens decipher each signal & respond with a Telepathic message, they dampened the intensity of the message so it wouldnt sound as if the whole hive was speaking, just a few dozen: " We are Formic, we have traveled a vast distance to your galaxy, we have only just awakened from cryo-sleep, we mean you no harm Queen MiiR'kIthkit, we only wish to find a new home"

The Queen & the crew listen to the message and oddly understand it without having to run it through a translation program. The Captain of the Guard "My Queen, if what they say is true, they sound like us. But we were her first and we've already begun settling the system." the Queen "I know Captain. But if this species has been traveling like we have, then who are we to turn them away? The forth planet all be it usable in the future, it is doing us no good right now. We're unable to transformer it for another year while the Battleship recharges its Terra-Plant." the Captain "As you command my Queen."
The Queen opens the com again as well as visual in case the approaching species has visual screens "Formic species. We of the Chrymerion Imperium offer you temporary sanctuary within our system for now. I invite you to join me on our new homeworld, the third planet for a face to face meeting. For now, you may make use of the forth planet. If meeting face to face is acceptable, inform us and I will send you the co-ordinates to go to." and she waits for the strange message
Meanwhile, aboard the Mothership, they are busy creating communication beacons that will begin seeding into hypserspace to aid in galactic communications.

Zagara & the other Queens did not know what to make of the extra signal sent at first. Zagara & one of her daughters Kilysa walked over to 1 of the walls in the main chamber. Zagara caused to ship to excrete a sap like film on the wall in which to run the signal through.
Suddenly a Visual of the Chrymerions come up. They looked very strange to the Formic's, similar to humans but larger & without the threadlike growths on their body. Zagara used the ship to send back a visual signal.

Zagara sent another Telepathic message to the Chrymerions, "Thank you for your kindness, we will stay only long enough to recharge our vessels & gather more nutrients, yes a face to face meeting is welcome"
Kilysa telepathically speaks to Zagara while they look at the screen.
Kilysa: "Mother can we trust these creatures, what if they are like the evil humans we fought so long ago?"
Zagara: "Calm yourself Kilysa, though I have not yet figured out how to decipher the Singular Sentient's brain waves, these creature demeanor seems very balanced far more then humans, be patient & let us see how this meeting goes, we may very well gain a ally"

The Queen will put her hand on her chest and bow slightly then stand erect again "Your species...you're quite...beautiful. Most fascinating. We have never known Insectoids before. Think nothing of the kindness. We ourselves are rebuilding our empire. Where we come from, it was overcome by a race that thrived on carnage. It destroyed worlds, committed genocide on all in the galaxy. We're all that is left of our home galaxy. Where would you like to meet? On board one of your ships, on one of ours or on the planets surface in our capital city?"
(They would find the Chrymerion brain extremely analytical but deep down, there is a repressed psionic gene for telepathy that has almost been completely wiped out. Basically thousands of generations of not using it has stunted it in a sense.)

Zagara started being able to tap into the Queens mind just alittle, she found the Chrymerion brain interesting, being part of a Hive mind it seemed that these creatures were in a lonely state being unable to expand beyond itself, & it seemed unfortunately sad that there were parts of their mind that was repressed.
Zagara wasnt entirely certain what the Chrymerion Queens body motion meant but it seemed like a very polite one.
Zagara: " Your species is very fascinating as well, im sorry for your loss, We understand what it is like to loose your home, we ourselves lost our home, the situation was complex I will have to explain later when we meet, as far as a meeting place lets meet on one of your ships"

"Very well. I will meet you on board my personal shuttle. You should detect it leaving the mothership in five dutaries (minutes). Please, bring any you wish to attend you. Till then, be safe." and coms turn off. The Queen transports to the shuttle with the Captain of the Guard and minimal crew members. On his insistence, a dozen guards are on board the cruiser. Instead of the normal blue and grey patterns, the Queen's ship is chrome where the white would be and black where the grey would be. The ship launches at the exact moment specified and slowly makes its way towards the Formic ships and stops half way and awaits the Formic counterparts. The Queen has one of the servants prepare food and drink that would be customary for Chrymerions, not knowing if and what Formic eat or drink. The Queen sits in her chamber and watches on the wall monitor the Formic ships "I hope this goes well. My people could use allies in this strange galaxy."

Zagara choose 4 Hive Guardians & 10 Soldiers to accompany her. On her way to her transport vessel her 2 eldest daughter on the other Hive carrier had a few concerns.
Vyloth: "Mother I feel as Kilysa does & I trust your decision, but why not have them meet us on the 4th Planet."
Zagara: "I dont want our ships too close just yet, if something goes wrong I need all of you to be able to escape quickly, besides ive never seen the inside of another species vessel, I am curious."
Rokarr: "I dont mind you going & I understand why your not taking any of us with you, but I think you should take more drones especially a Siege Drone"
Zagara: "My current selection will be sufficient, the Siege drones may frighten them, also due to there size they may not fit into what ever ship we meet in, stay calm my children, do not make any moves that can be misinterpreted as hostile but be ready to defend if necessary"
Various Sections of both Hive Carriers opened as various battleships & fighters took formations next to the Hive Carriers.
Then out of the top of the 2nd Hive carrier a transport Vessel comes forth & meets the Chrymerion Queens shuttle. Positioning its right side towards the Chrymerion shuttle part of the vessel started seemingly growing out like a tree limb towards the shuttle & stops a few feet away.

The Queen watches on her screen the incoming ships and what's going on outside the ship. Standing up, the Queen is in awe over the appearances and sizes of the ships. "They appear to be organic" the Queen says out loud to no one in particular. Meanwhile, on the Bridge the Captain of the Guard also watches and gets on the ship wide communications "All hands to your posts and prepare to receive alien dignitaries. Hangar bay B open your doors to receive our guests. All honor guard assume formations." Immediately everyone does as they're orders and the honor guard stand formation in order to receive the visitors. The Queen gets dressed up in the nicest clothes possible as well as jewelry. Everyone now waiting for the guests ship.

The end of the vessels limb started folding open similar to how a person would fold up their sleeves of a shirt.
After the Chrymerion ships Hangar bay opened 10 Formic Solider Drones, each around 2 meters in height, 2 by 2 jumped from inside the limb into the hanger bay. They stopped for a moment seemingly examining the new creatures before taking positions on either side of the Bay door.
Next jumped in 4 Hive Guardians carrying the Queen. The Hive Guardians were a full head & shoulders taller the the Soldier drones & the Queen was over 3 meters in length. The Hive Guardians slowly placed the Queen down on the floor & took positions on either side examining the creatures before them.

The Queen looks around before speaking, taking in every detail of the alien ship in awe of its architecture. Through it was made of some strange metal it had an organic look to it, she really liked all the little detail the ship had.

Meanwhile, right after the Grand Fleet and the Chrymerion delegates have arrived in the area of the emanating DNA signal, they received an emergency communication signal from the Chrymerion Star System.
"Prince, we have encountered another sentient creatures from a distant galaxy. They seem to be like us. They're refugees from their home world. They looking for a planetary system right now, and they accidentally managed to get into us. We temporarily let them seek shelter in our fourth world while your mother was meeting face to face with the alien race's queen. By the way, they're an insectoid species which call themselves Formics. I hope you received the message, your Highness. May the force be with you in your journey."
After receiving the signal, the prince immediately show it to the Fleet Commander. Moments later, a branch of the Diyelian fleet was seen returning to the newly-found ally's star system to aid the another unexpected visitors.
The rest of the fleet, however, is now heading to the Kerbol Star Sytem. From their DNA signal tracker, they found multiple DNA's coming from the planet, and it looks like they made it just at the RIGHT time.

The Prince looks at the reports of a new species in the Chrymerions new system. Knowing that the entire fleet is there, he believes they will be safe. The Queen is there after all and she can be a good diplomat.

Zagara's daughters Telepathically detect a fleet of some sort at the edge of the Chrymerion system. Majority of the Battle Ships & fighters turn around to meet or intercept what ever was coming. Both Hive Carriers shift into a defensive mode. Vyloth notifies Zagara.

Chrymerion vessels detect the incoming ships and move to intercept. Over the speakers of the Queens Vessel comes "Attention all hands. This is a Code Alpha response. Unknown vessels are nearing the solar system. Main fleet is moving to intercept. Formic fleet appears to be moving to intercept as well. Imperius Guard fleet is moving to defensive line around this vessel. Hailing unknown ships now.
On all frequencies, the Chrymerion Mothership broadcasts "To unknown ships nearing the Chrymerion system. This is the Chrymerion Imperius High Command. Explain your reason for moving upon our system."
Queen MiiR'kIthkit responds to Queen Zagara "No Queen Zagara. We weren't. It sounds like both of our fleets may be intercepting them." she then holds her hand up and moves it and the room turns into a giant 360 degree viewing chamber and it looks like all are standing in space. Every vessel and planet can be seen. She moves her hand some more and the image zooms in on the incoming vessels.

The Chrymerion personnel hearing this are confused. How could a vessel be here and not having been discovered yet is a complete mystery. The search ships begin full sensor scans trying to find the location of where they are "Talos-Class ship. This is the Chrymerion Imperius Battleship Vehemth. What is your location?"

Zagara takes a close look at the vessels & her posture suddenly seems more stern then usual & it seemed to reflect in the Drones & Hive Guardians as well, the Krosana's ships reminded her of the humans planetary vessels the Formics fought against many years ago.
Vyloth: "Mother you dont think the humans we battled followed us do you, we need to capture these creatures & perceive their memories."
Zagara: "No, we covered our path efficiently before we left, & also no, we will let Chrymerions handle them for now, this is their system & I dont want to intervene with their protocols, but keep surveillance on these new creatures & bring our ships back to the Hive Carriers"
Zagara to Queen MiiR'kIthkit: "I will have my fleet drop back as to not interfere, these images are very interesting, its similar to how Formics speak to each other but in out minds"

The Queen goes to the bridge and opens hailing frequencies to the Krosanians "Krosanian vessels. This is Queen MiiR'kIthkit of the Chrymerion. One ship of yours somehow bypassed our sensors and patrols and crash landed on a planetary body without being detected. One of your ships is in our system now as we aid it in looking for your missing ship. I suggest you contact them. We just recently got word that coms from your missing personnel was received and when responded to asking for their locations, no response was given. We are trying to find them now. You may send in twelve search and rescue vessels to aid in finding your lost crewmen. Any more ships than that enter and you will be declaring war by trespassing in our territory. I suggest you comply as we are trying to save your lost crew."

Krosana sends 10 falcons to the last reported location of the ships, a large planet with a thick atmosphere. The falcons land, and you hear some gunfire, but eventually you hear a signal from the planet: Uh, Chrymerion, you may want to see this. It's some sort of... enhanced mutagen.

The Chrymerion Queen orders a cruiser to head to the location and deploy a platoon of armored forces in full environmental suits. Armed with disruptor rifles and power swords, the assault platoon leader M'rttex orders everyone to be alert and use their sensors "Krosana troops. What's your location?"

The Chrymerion troops make sure that they have heir thermal barrier shields activated to help deal with the extreme heat on the near lava planet. Very few solid land masses exist on this world. Only four land masses exist none of which is bigger than a small city. The biggest one being at the north pole region. "Krosana troops. Were en route. Your ship should see us on radar. We're three minutes out from your location." and the platoon makes double time to the aliens as they make use of their jump packs to make better time.

Krosana already has several scientists and paramedics on the scene. The head scientists talks to your commanding officer. 'You must be the Chrymerions. I'm military scientist Th'uze Kagama. We've only just been able to get a hold of these.. organisms. I supposed that this planet is mostly magma. We're only just getting test results of this virus, and it apparently gets sterilised on contact with anything higher than 156°C. It hijacks the neural pathways and may take anytime from several seconds to several weeks to have full conversion. I recommend that we destroy this planet by warping it to a black hole.

The commanding officer looks over the area as the Krosanan talk to him "This planet is part of the Chrymerion Imperius and we will not permit you or anyone to destroy it. It will have a purpose as will any and all planets in this system. You've found your crew. I suggest you take them and depart our system. Our Queen is not pleased with the way your people arrived here. And the fact your ship bypassed our sensors and is on a planet in our system is worrisome. You have one hour to depart the system. We will remain here to watch over you evacuation of your people and equipment. This is non-negotiable. If you wish to further study things, you may approach us peacefully after you've left the system. He stops and looks down at the Krosanan "I'm sorry, but your people have caused too many issues for us to allow you to stay at this time."

The Chrymerions set up remote sensors and scanners and go back to their ship which then departs. En route, they contact the Queen and tell her what happened and found out. She then in turn contacts the Krosanan fleet "Krosanan fleet. This is the Chrymerion Queen. I have been fully informed as to what occured on the planet according to your scientists. I wish to speak to your fleets commander and lead scientist."

After arriving back on her hive carrier Queen Zagara went to her personal chamber to sleep, she wanted her rest in case this new species proved to be hostile. In the mean time Vyloth & her other daughters would oversee operations.
Scanning the 4th planet it proved to be suitable for Formics to live on but for the resources they need to replenish they would have to at least partially terraform the planet. Both Hive Carriers orbit the planet. 4 transport vessels from each Hive Carrier landed at strategic points on the planets surface.

Spawning Shrub:
Soldiers from each vessel carried out 1 large Spawning Shrub. Finding an optimal spot they placed the spawning shrub down & poured a nutrient rich liquid on its 3 main roots waking it up from its stasis state. Once the spawning shrubs were awake their roots borrowed in the ground & their 3 pedals opened releasing spores into the planets atmosphere essentially terra-forming the planet enough to enable the Formics to grow food & nutrients they need for a second trip.

Vyloth to her sisters: "I realize mother & most of you feel as if we can trust these creatures, & perhaps we can, but I will still take a cautious approach in dealing with them. Alright Unar & Lafash you keep their broods on stand by in case of attack, Taknul & Niadra you finish the terraforming & farming operations, Rokarr Kilysa & myself will go through the sensors feed & computers from there Vessel".
As the others go to their directives Kilysa interrupts Vyloth.
Kilysa: "I'm going travel the Chrymerion planet".
Vyloth: "No, we need to be careful until we know for sure we can trust them"
Kilysa: "If mom says we can trust then we can, so im going, besides this will prove once & for all if we can trust them"
Vyloth: "I dont like it this at all but I cant stop you since we are the same rank, do what you want until mom wakes up, but be careful you are Zagara's youngest daughter now, you arent old enough to remember the brutal years of the war before we came here, mom has lost many children even before any of us were born, & in her old age she is looking for hope, if anything happens to you that hope will die, & she will became more ruthless & cold then before, I wish to keep that from happening, just be careful ok".
Kilysa: "Dont worry ill send you all memories of the trip"
Kilysa had already jumped into a battle ship & made her way to the Chrymerion world before Vyloth or herself could send a message, she was so excited her wings were fluttering.
Vyloth sends another message to Commander M'ytx'Toor: "High Commander M'ytx'Toor thank you for your hospitality, we will notify you if we need any asistance, in the mean time Kilysa, Zagara's youngest living daughter will be own her way to tour your planet, she is a very curious sort & doesnt always pay attention to protocol, so please be sure she cames to no harm."
Kilysa to Commander M'ytx'Toor: "Good day High Commander this is Kilysa im on my way to your planet, dont pay attention to Vyloth, im sure she sent you a message of sorts, she worries to much, oh & if you have any high yield nutrients it would speed up our replenishment operation, any way I should be there in a few minutes."

I've instructed Vyloth that my daughter M'dRyyl will meet you when you land and show you around. We have jump packs which allow short bursts of speed as well as craft that can take you around as well as transporter systems. She is your guide, ask and she will take you to any non-sensitive location such as reactors, armories and so on. And we do in fact have numerous high yield nutrient food sources. Grains, proteins as well as fruits. We even produce a line of nutrient rich foods that come as bars, drinks, pastes and powders. Please, enjoy your stay and my daughter will bee able to handle any of your needs."

The Hegemony, receiving the communication signal from the Grand Fleet that stumbled upon the Chrymerions immediately send another wave of scientist, soldiers, and ambassadors to the Chrymerion home system, though they're still not aware that the Formics and Krosanians have gathered there as well.

As the Hegemony vessels near the Chrymerion star system, they detect the unusually massive Krosanian fleet sitting outside the system as well as the Formic ships within the system which seem to be moving around peacefully and unobstructed. In fact, sensors would detect that Formic life signs are on the 4th planet and nearing the 3rd planet which is the capital planet. As the Hegemony vessels near the system they receive a hail "This is Chrymerion Control to incoming vessels. Please state the nature of your visit." This comes through on all channels including visuals.

The Chrymerion people busy themselves studying the mutagenic as well as constructing other cities and bases. Word comes from two exploratory groups that they have uncovered ruins of another civilization that appears to have died out or abandoned their worlds. Command orders the exploratory groups to fully explore and categorize the worlds and determine if they have any applicable uses.

If you don't mind, we need your help in communicating with them since it'll be our first time to meet your visitors as well.", the commander of the Second Emissary Fleet stated in response to the commander of the Chrymerions.

(Formic Battle ship is the size of an Imerial II class star destroyer)
As the Hegemony vessels near the Chrymerion star system, they detect the unusually massive Krosanian fleet sitting outside the system as well as the Formic ships within the system which seem to be moving around peacefully and unobstructed. In fact, sensors would detect that Formic life signs are on the 4th planet and nearing the 3rd planet which is the capital planet. As the Hegemony vessels near the system they receive a hail "This is Chrymerion Control to incoming vessels. Please state the nature of your visit." This comes through on all channels including visuals.
Unar & Lafash pick up on the presence of the Hegemony vessels, Unar adjusted her vessels from the north pole of Delta IV orbit to a more tactical location to get a better view of the new creatures coming. Lafash keept her psionic gaze on the Krosana fleet.
Unar: "Vyloth new vessels in bond, they seem to be heading to the Chrymerion planet, they are few but unknown shall I intercept?"
Vyloth: "No need, the Chrymerions have everything under control I believe, keep a small eye out, Im starting to trust the Chrymerions a bit but we will be cautious with these other creatures."
Vyloth & Rokarr went back to collect data from the Sensors & lab computers telepathically, Formic Queens have incredibly advanced brains and are able to store & share unfathomable amounts of data in their minds. Consequently, they don't need or use computers.

This system appears to have once been the home to a now dead species. There are ships...city sized ships in orbit of planets. The ships are derelicts. You can see damage on all of them. We don't know what has kept them in orbit but it has been a very long time since they were crewed. This system has been coined Beta Gahi.
Group 2- Command, this is Exploration Beta. We too have come across an inhabitable system that appears to have once been home to a now dead species. We have cities and bases. Gamma Hyperion system is a twin blue binary star system with four super giant sized planets. One of which has terrestrial moons.
Group 3- Command, this is Exploration Delta, we are nearing a promising system. We'll keep you updated. It is being referred to as Alpha Dicilliar.

Kilysa wasnt certain what that phrase beam down meant so she briefly scanned the commanders mind to see what he was thinking of with that phrase, what she saw astonished her, she didnt know what teleportation was before or how it worked.

Kilysa lands outside the city at the coordinates provided, upon landing the side ports opened & several Soldier & Siege Drones slowly came out looking around scanning the area. Next 2 Energy Harvesters 94 meters in length crawled out of ports on the top of the battle ship & started making stretching motions before scanning the area themselves. Kilysa finally came out riding one of her Siege Drones with 2 Hive Guardians in front.
Seeing M'dRyyl arrive she flew over with her Hive Gaurdians running right behind, she landed a few feet away, she was nervous, she had never seen such a creature up close before, the seemed odd having their flesh on the outside, but she was certain she herself probably looked odd to M'dRyyl.
Kilysa: "Good Day M'dRyyl, im Kilysa & this is my brood behind me, I still have a few years until im fully grown so my brood is pretty small, it hasnt even reached 40,000 yet, this planet is beautiful & I have alot of questions if you dont mind, yea sorry for talking so much even though im technically not talking, anyway how are you?"

Meanwhile on Delta IV the terraforming was coming along quickly, farming will begin in 1 - 2 days. The Hive Carriers will be fully charged by the time the farming starts. Zagara was still asleep but its common for formic of her age to sleep for 2-3 days sometimes outside of their usual sleeping pattern.

My people mastered genetic manipulation on such a fine scale that thousands upon thousands of years ago they made our DNA a perfect morphic DNA. What that means is that our species is able to reproduce with any sentient species. Be it be by organic means or laboratory assisted means, it doesn't matter. We also heal faster, can reattach limbs, organs regrow. We're not unkillable mind you. Enough damage and we will die. We're just more resilient and hearty. You shoot me in the brain and I will die. But we have enough extra organs that you could destroy this heart (he points) and I have another that will take over while this one regenerates.

He will take Diyelians to the downtown area where it is bustling with Chrymerion citizens. The smell of foods and sounds of traffic and music fill the air. One thing he will notice is that Chrymerion food is very...plain looking. In fact, you have pastes, bars/blocks, powders, etc. No "human" looking food really. "Our food is designed to allow maximum nutrition as well as ease of production. Here, try this bar" and he walks to a shop and grabs a brown bar and holds it out to Diyelians and then will pick up another brown bar from a different stack and holds it while Diyelians tries the 1st one. And if he does, it will have a beef steak with onions, garlic and butter flavor.

Need to check some veggie flavored bars as well." he then rushed to the nearest food stall, leaving the Chrymerion commander wondering how this strange species can pack their mouths with two whole bars of food while trying to gobble up another one.

The Commander watches this man sampling all sorts of foods. When he tried bars, they have a almost chewy granola bar texture with some meatiness to it. The powders are made to put into liquids and make a smoothie or milkshake consistency and the pastes are like toothpaste consistency. And all sorts of flavors exist. "Our foods are designed for optimal nutritional and caloric moderation. That first bar alone probably has just over 5,000 calories and all of the daily vitamins and minerals we need for an entire day. The powders tend to be even more concentrated and the pastes even more so."

"Terra. Yeah, a planet named Terra. And if I have it correctly, it is located somewhere in this galaxy, not faraway from our home world. We tried to find them. But seems that their star-system can't be located on the map. It seems that they're gone from existence. There's a lore that claimed that the Humans were devoured by their greed and spread slaughter among their own species, pitting brothers against brothers, fathers against sons, until they destroyed their own sun. And vanished forever." he stood silent, breathing for a second.
"But that's just a lore. We believe that they're still out there. Maybe a nomadic species. Or maybe have an exodus to another galaxy eons before the onset of the Reaper War, before we even first braved the space." He looked at the astonished Chrymerion, "Our ancestors claim they are our brothers, separated by the fate of the universe, scattered by the insatiable hunger to explore the deep darkness of the void. If that is true, if you're really the one who seeded them along with the other future sentient species..." the commander looked deeply into the eyes of the Chrymerion, searching for answers.

The bars are convenient and are my personal favorites. The powders a lot of people like because they are super concentrated and you mix them into a liquid and it forms a thicker liquid. The pastes are nice if you just want to have something that you squeeze into your mouth and not have to bother chewing or mixing. The best way to see if you may like something is smell it. You can have twenty bars in front of you and they will most likely look the same. But if you smell them, you will notice twenty different nutrient profiles. They all come natural plants and meats and are highly processed into optimal nutritional requirement. And whatever you want today, it is on the Chrymerion government. In fact, my father has ordered twenty tons of various food sources to be packaged so you can take back as samples."

The Chrymerion scientists working on the mutagen in their own way is coming to similar conclusions as their Diyelian counterparts but they aren't naming anything and simply storing the information. The holo systems allow real time simulations to be done as if working with the actual mutagen. One thing they do notice is that they could use the virus to create actual organic growths. This makes them focus on the genetic manipulation of such an organism. Zagara & Rokarr were going over various uses for the mutagen, Star ship designs, Structures & even new drones that could be created with the mutagen. This would indeed spawn new generations of Formics & technology. It reminded Zagara of all the times she discovered innovations for improving her species after the humans destroyed her planet. Now again another step to create more powerful Formic's.

The Chrymerions develop an experimental version of what they refer to as an Exo-Pressure Suit. A regenerative suit that enhances the users healing abilities, gives then the strength of twenty of their kind, makes them faster, more agile and is fully environmental. When not in use, the XPS-001 is in a liquid state that is contained within the body. When needed, a simple thought causes the liquid like substance to form around the wielder and in less than a second, the wielder is in the suit.
They begin researching other uses for the material as the suit is put through tests.

Zagara:" Yes Certainly, the Hive Carriers atmosphere has alittle more argon & less nitrogen then what was on your ship but we can adjust this if needed, also im not certain how resistant your species is to radiation but we will have our Energy Harvester absorb any if it will be trouble some. I am at the carrier sitting in the most northern point of orbit"
Formic fighers & transports could be seen going back & forth from Delta IV to the Hive Carriers periodically.
The Hive carriers were massive relics from a brutal & devastating war, They didnt have many weapons but were thick & robust, set to hold 20 million Formics, lighter tones in the ships hull mark scares were it had been regrown after damage. Zagara woke up Vyloth, & Rokarr had the drones gather food for the visiters. Zagara woke up Unar & Lafash on the other carrier to have their drones resume patrol & be ready to escort the Chrymerion ships that would be coming.

Kilysa gently clasps M'dRyyl hands
Kilysa: "Alright take deep breathes & relax, ill go slow"
Kilysa started transferring her happy memories into M'dRyyl's mind & looking at M'dRyyl's memories she was thinking of. The first memory from Kilysa she was still a larvae crawling up the wall of a hive carrier gnawing on a branch like structure, a younger Zagara walked up the wall next to her and gently picked her up, in Zagara's arms she was being tickled, Zagara then briskly ran into several other tunnels & chambers before joining other larvae, Queens, & Formic drones of various types & sizes in a feeding chamber. Next memory was when Kilysa woke up from her first cocoon as a Brood Maiden, other memories proceeded, each with various sounds, smells, & sights. but M'dRyyl would notice that all of them were on the hive carrier.
But while this went on Kilysa did not know that she was awakening a dormant Psionic Gene with in M'dRyyl, for M'dRyyl it would feel like a spark went off as if her mind was expanding.

MiiR'kIthkit to Zagara- "We're a very resilient species and radiation even in high amounts doesn't pose a threat to us. We would need to inject liquidized radiation into our bodies by the hundreds of gallons before we felt any symptoms. And we're able to breathe in your environment for extended periods. Our respiratory system is highly advanced with multiple organs as well as additional organs for scrubbing, purifying and enhancing. There isn't too many environments that we can't survive in. I will be there at the appointed time and if you don't mind, I would like to bring my son M'tyrr. He's become fascinated by your organic vessels."
M'dRyyl calms herself, lowering her heart beat and opening her mind. Allowing herself to relax despite her training. She takes a deep breath and then exhales...As Kilysa looked into M'dRyyls memories, she would see a toddler M'dRyyl as she runs through a massive subterranean city that appears to be made of organic tissue. The streets resemble scales. She's laughing and playing with an insect like animal (The size of a German shepherd). Then the memory of a young adult M'dRyyl meeting a male and then shortly after getting married. The next memory is of her having quadruplets. The next memory is her holding the infants and singing to them. The next memory is triplets being born as the male and the quadruplets stand around and watch the birthing. Then a memory of her holding the triplets with the quadruplets but there is no male. Then the memory of her coming out of cryo-stasis and her singing as she studies the astro charts. Then suddenly her mind begins feeling as if it is expanding. Hearing other sounds and voices. An urge to scream comes over her but she resist the urge to let it loose.

Kilysa was about to show M'dRyyl more but stop suddenly feeling her discomfort. She let go of M'dRyyl's hands but kept close incase she needed to catch her from falling.

On Delta IV Niadra & Taknul were flying around studying features of the planet, it now had nutrient rich plains & marshes, & there were even several natural caverns, they thought of doing some mining but quickly decided against it, they didnt want to slow down any portion of the farming operation, they were eager to venture out again & find a new home.

Kilysa looks excited that her new friend wants to continue the memory transfer.
Kilysa: "Ok but I dont many more to show you but ill share some of the ones my mom & sisters shared with me, also I must say that being married must be just a loving experience, & your children are very beautiful"
Kilysa clasps M'dRyyl's hands once more & took her to the moment when she was old enough to choose her first mate. The process seemed far more complex then any outsider would have noticed. not only do formic pairing consist of physical appearance & postures but also how the initial pheromones between male & female formics interact & mix & even the chemistry of the mental link thats shared. Eventually she found a Hive Guardian she liked. Next M'dRyyl saw Kilysa's first set of 200 eggs hatching, some of Zagara's worker drones picked Kilysa's new larvae up & they lined up to allow Kilysa to inspect them 2 at a time, it was almost possible to already to tell what type of formic drone each larvae would grow up to be. Next came various memories from her sisters when the Formics were spread out across various moons of a massive gas giant.
The last set of memories were from Zagara, they were of the Formics home world. In all these memories M'dRyyl would see just how much the Formics had changed over time. In Zagara's memories of the Formic home world there were only 4 types of Formics: The Queens who actually look some what different, worker drones that were smaller then what she has seen before, Soldier drones that were not as robust, & Male Formics that were only slightly bigger then the soldier drones.
During the memories a more powerful spark & expansion occurred in M'dRyyl's mind, the further back in memory Kilysa took M'dRyyl the more potent the effects

M'dRyyl is quite intrigued by this sensation she was feeling during the memories transfer. Her mind felt like it was opening up. She wasn't just feeling or sensing the other Formics but rather she could also feel other Chrymerion that were near by. The idea of being able to share memories, thoughts and experiences intrigues her greatly.
M'dRyyl to Kilysa- "I understand. And being married...it was tremendous and my children were the best things to ever occur to me. They were so beautiful." she saddens a bit but doesn't show the emotions as the Chrymerion teachings instruct.
M'dRyyl takes Kilysa's hands and relaxes and opens herself up. Finding the Formic mate choosing is so complex. Similar though in that the Chrymerions use Pheromones at first to select mates followed by genetic tests that are done as well as a complex almost battle like competition where the two fight and if the male wins, he is chosen by the female. If he looses, he is sent away and most likely will never be able to get a mate. It's unknown exactly why they do this, they just do (In reality, their ancestors altered their minds so the physical competition weeds out weaker males.). The next memory from M'dRyyl that is shared is a genetic memory that she didn't know she had and that is Chrymerion seeding thousands upon thousands of worlds through out dozens of galaxies. It shows images of various humanoid species it also shows xenomorphs being created in laboratories as well as other creatures. Then shows a great was between Chrymerion and Yuatja (Predators) and eventually Chrymerion win but at great costs. The war was started because Yuatja hunted sentient creatures and Chrymerion were trying to protect them. Then comes a M'dRyyl memory that is shown and that is of meeting Kilysa and getting a sense of familiarity but also admiration.
When the bigger spark begins, M'dRyyls mind keeps expanding and as it happens, she thinks to herself "What is this feeling? I can feel those in the area. I can hear their thoughts. That...they are Chrymerion, not just Formic. What is happening? Is this telepathy?"

Kilysa: "Yes I would be honored, you will be the first ive ever taught, I will take you through the the rules & 4 basics first, then once you've gotten those down we'll go through the advanced spectrum & abilities, there are a few im working on myself so we maybe learning together on those. But eventually we both will have to go to my mom or older sisters for the mastery spectrum & abilities. This is sooooo exciting, oh yea, now that your an active psionic you will have to stay hydrated to prevent early mental fatigue. But as you get stronger you will gain much more mental endurance & your mind will use energy far more efficiently throughout your whole body."

Kilysa: "It maybe a bit of both, although mostly from the Awakening as we call it, the same happened to me when I came out of my first cocoon as a brood maiden, & I suspect something similar will happen in my last one. For my race only Queens & Hive Guardians can, but with your race its hard to tell who can & who cant, although a Master Telepath could probably tell, right now that would be my mom & 2 of my sisters Vyloth & Rokarr. Before we go further lets both eat so you dont pass out"

"I see. Yes, let us get some food and drinks." she leads Kilysa to a near by shop and grabs several bars and some powder and a drink. "Get what you like, it's on me." and she pours the powder into the bottle and shakes it and makes it become a smoothie like consistency.

Kilysa smelled various items she comes across eventually picked a few pastes, bars, a powder, & drink.
She was eating one of the pastes when she noticed some creatures a few meters away who were not Chrymerion, they looked similar to humans which alarmed her, her Hive guardians instinctively took positions at the midpoint between Kilysa & the creatures watching them intently. Kilysa turns to M'dRyyl trying to hide her distress.
Kilysa: "These pastes are really good, by the way who & what are those creatures over there?"

M'dRyyl "Yes. The smells and tastes are very different. No matter how similar they are, they're all so different. We take fruits, vegetables and meats and process them in such a way that it creates these products. It's much easier to eat when you have a whole meal in a single form. And with our nutritional intake so carefully monitored, we're guaranteed proper nutrition and health."
M'dRyyl doesn't smile as it is something unknown to the Chrymerion but she is quite happy having a new person to do things with. As she talks and walks with Kilysa, she thinks about her deceased husband and children and how maybe one day she hopes to try again.
M'dRyyl notices the change in behavior with Kilysa and noticed the Hive Guardians shift positions. And when asked who those creatures were "That is a Hegemony representative. The tall Chrymerion he's with is my father. Like you, he's being shown our world and given a tour. They're a new ally of the Chrymerion. In fact, a small fleet of theirs and our Crowned Prince on board one of our ships left Chrymerion space together to go to another solar system on a I believe diplomatic mission to meet another species. I don't know much about them but I think they can be trusted. They look like one of the species that Chrymerion seeded the galaxy with many, many millennium ago. Would you like to go meet them?"

But I will just tell the gist of it now, long ago in a distant galaxy the Formic's were involved in a series of brutal wars with a race known as humans that half way through resulted in our home world being destroyed & our race nearly extinct, there were less then 1,000 formics left at that point Lead by Zagara, my mom. I wasnt born until several centuries after our home was destroyed but my mom has shared most of her memories of her life with us. I was born into war, all my life I have only known humans & human like creatures to be my sworn enemies. In fact this world is the only world ive walked on in peacefully times. But the best way I can explain everything is to show you."

He smiled at the Formic princess, who seemed to get the irony of it. "What a great coincidence. Or perhaps I should say... THE WORK OF FATE." He pauses for a moment, then muses at the creature to come and follow him. "Let's talk about more of our history... I say, together with those two fine species over there," pointing his finger at Commander Shivak and his daughter. The two, although a bit confused at the situation, quickly comes to join them.
Hours later, after spending an exchange of stories and experiences, the three decided to inform their respective leaders about a proposal that sprouted from their minds: creating a pact... or FEDERATION among them. While sending communication relays, suddenly an emergency signal appeared. First, from the Formic's home world and the next one coming from the Diyelians.
"Commander Bremstune, this is Commander Alephreiss of the Grand Fleet of the Mother World Defense Initiative. A message was dispatch to us by the Formics. They said they we're being visited by hostile species. Based on the communication signals, it seems that 'they' are some sort of a transcendent mechanical species. They seem to dislike organic weaponry. Please stand by and stay on the alert. Pass this message to the Chrymerions and the Formics on their home world. We will send a reinforcement and reconnaissance fleet to your coordinates. Thank you."
The emissary commander stared at their new-found allies. "It seems like an inevitable war is looming on the horizon. Prepare to dig your own graves. Oh geez, we're not done from the Reapers and then... oh, this galaxy... IS REALLY SCREWED UP."

A creature she's not familiar with speaking Chrymerion but with a strange accent. Her mind is filled with images she doesn't recognize for several minutes. Then they stop and her headache fades away. Looking at the others, her eyes have gone from the black like all Chrymerions to a deep royal blue.

Capable of surviving extreme environments ranging from -130 to +150 degrees Celsius and even underwater (in early stages of life), the Mutagen can withstand the harsh environments of all known colonised planets.
It would seem that the Flood can infect any living organism, but that they prefer hosts with a large brain capacity to accelerate the formation and expansion of the Hivemind Intelligence(Large intelligent mass) and the group intelligence as a whole. They are only as intelligent as the beings they infect; the more cunning the enemy, the more dangerous the Mutant will be.
As the Flood spread and replicate, they will alter the environment to better suit their needs. This takes the form of biomass growing on any available surface, and the air being filled with spores. This appears to be part of it's life cycle and is done automatically, and leads to the development of a Hivemind.

OOC: Yes, it is. They can be biomechanically linked to a nanobot provided that certain biomechanical conditions are met. Actually, we managed to build an entire legion of super soldiers that is imbued with viral living armor from the cellular level. That living armor serves as an internal main frame for the nanobot filled exo skeleton. The nano exo skeleton, in return, supports the stats augmenters that is carefully connected to the living armor as well.

Neurological
Infection forms selectively target other species that possess sentient intelligence and are of sufficient biomass, and can infest living or lightly wounded dead bodies. Infection forms have long tendrils that pierce the skin of the host and find their way to the spinal cord. They then synchronize with the host, matching frequencies with the host's nervous system and killing them almost instantly. From there, they take control of the host body, replacing whatever mind originally resided there with the ravenous and voracious psyche of the Mutagen, although certain higher-level cognitive abilities, such as combat techniques and technical knowledge which may be useful, are retained, scanned from the victim's brain after death. Despite this lingering of certain memories, no trace of the original mind's personality remains; only a simplistic and primal urge to assimilate or destroy other species drives the organism after infection. In isolated cases, such as when the Mutagen seek very specific information from an individual's mind, they utilise an alternate, undescribed method of infestation that does not kill the host immediately; this allows the Mutagen to "burrow" into the host's mind, eventually giving them access to the entire scope of the host's memories. This has only been specifically seen when the Mutagen sought information from Commander Foha Tsukino, such as the location of Krosana or a starship. In addition, if the Infection Form that initiates assimilation is extremely aged or damaged somehow, the death of the host can be removed from the equation entirely; Private Coda Akihito suffered such a fate, remaining alive and fully aware of his situation despite the mutation of his body, even exhibiting limited control over his body at times when the Mutant instincts were dormant.
If a greater Mutagenic intelligence, such as a Hivemind, is activated, then it is capable of overriding the primitive instincts of all other Mutant forms, taking direct control of each and every Mutant organism and making them much more dangerous, a result of being guided by a sentient mind. It is unknown what would have happened to a still-living host such as Private Akihito when a Hivemind attempted to influence control over it, as no living hosts were ever encountered after the activation of a Hivemind.

Developmental Stages
The Flood go through four distinct developmental changes.
I: Feral stage is the lowest form: communicating via pheromones, and have the natural instinct to harvest enough calcium to establish a viable Hivemind.
II: Coordinated stage is when the Mutagen becomes truly dangerous; they are now controlled by the Hivemind that was created in the first stage.
III: Interstellar stage allows the Mutagen to take control of most technology and spread throughout the galaxy to infect more hosts.
IV: Intergalactic is the last known stage the Mutagen enters, theoretically, in which it utilizes all captured technology to depart to uninfected galaxies to further replicate.

Neurological
Infection forms selectively target other species that possess sentient intelligence and are of sufficient biomass, and can infest living or lightly wounded dead bodies. Infection forms have long tendrils that pierce the skin of the host and find their way to the spinal cord. They then synchronize with the host, matching frequencies with the host's nervous system and killing them almost instantly. From there, they take control of the host body, replacing whatever mind originally resided there with the ravenous and voracious psyche of the Mutagen, although certain higher-level cognitive abilities, such as combat techniques and technical knowledge which may be useful, are retained, scanned from the victim's brain after death. Despite this lingering of certain memories, no trace of the original mind's personality remains; only a simplistic and primal urge to assimilate or destroy other species drives the organism after infection. In isolated cases, such as when the Mutagen seek very specific information from an individual's mind, they utilise an alternate, undescribed method of infestation that does not kill the host immediately; this allows the Mutagen to "burrow" into the host's mind, eventually giving them access to the entire scope of the host's memories. This has only been specifically seen when the Mutagen sought information from Commander Foha Tsukino, such as the location of Krosana or a starship. In addition, if the Infection Form that initiates assimilation is extremely aged or damaged somehow, the death of the host can be removed from the equation entirely; Private Coda Akihito suffered such a fate, remaining alive and fully aware of his situation despite the mutation of his body, even exhibiting limited control over his body at times when the Mutant instincts were dormant.
If a greater Mutagenic intelligence, such as a Hivemind, is activated, then it is capable of overriding the primitive instincts of all other Mutant forms, taking direct control of each and every Mutant organism and making them much more dangerous, a result of being guided by a sentient mind. It is unknown what would have happened to a still-living host such as Private Akihito when a Hivemind attempted to influence control over it, as no living hosts were ever encountered after the activation of a Hivemind.

However, due to the recent advancements in genetics and molecular bio-technology, the leading scientists of the Hegemony have successfully altered the genome of the virus, splicing the original RNA sequence with a synthesized RNA code made from the lab. This results in the virus being fully controllable, losing its parasitic and invasive control of the host while still having the ability to synchronize with the host's brain frequency.
This, together with the nanobot-exoskeleton with stat augmenters, gave rise to an entirely new breed of super soldiers.

Physiology
While baseline neurological assimilation is the same regardless of host species, The Mutgen's infestation includes physiological mutilation, which is species-specific.
Higher-level species capable of combat, such as Humans, Krosanians, or Mov'ea(Species the made the Krosanians and their planet) are selectively infected to become Combat Forms. Combat Forms retain the general profile of their original species, although they are significantly mutated. Organ systems are corrupted, organ-specific functions are decentralised, and body cavities are decayed, making hitbox-selective incapacitation impossible; organ functions are decentralised, thus, decapitation does not kill a combat form. Furthermore, highly area-specific munitions, such as sniper rifle projectiles, are completely ineffective, as picking off selective areas of a combat form leads to no wide-scale physiological impediments, and the projectile will punch through the decayed flesh rapidly, exiting through the other side of the combat form without consequence.
Combat forms also generate tentacles very quickly without regard for the skeletal structure of the host, with tentacles protruding from the combat form at odd locations, typically localised to the chest axial regions, such as the neck, armpits, or torso. A single arm is oftentimes mutated to a claw like or tentacle-like structure that splits into multiple angular, hand-like structures, replacing the hand's usage, though it will still be there. The musculature of the combat form dramatically changes as well, and the form is given prodigious arm and leg strength, allowing for heavy blows with its arm-like structures and for incredible speed and jumping height with its legs. The Flood are also prodigious climbers, able to scamper on walls with little hindrance to the organism. Metabolic requirements, however, appear to be extreme on the organism: blood vessels become extremely prominent on the surface of the Combat Form, with thick and distinct blood-colored vessels spawning all across the creature's surface, most prominently so on the head.
Countermeasures
There is no confirmed way to effectively prevent a Mutant infection once an Infection Form infects a host, and there is no way to reverse the effects of Mutant infection. However, there are known medical conditions that scramble the neural frequencies of the host (apparently without major negative manifestations in the host) which subsequently prevents Mutagenic infection. For example, Mutagenic infection is impossible in a host that has contracted 'Soren's Syndrome', a neurological condition caused by radiological exposure that creates electrical anomalies in the nervous system. Soren's Syndrome is a common side effect of the biologically enhancing drugs used in the GENGHIS Programme, the program responsible for creating the Super Soldiers of Krosana. It has been suggested that the scrambling of neural frequencies caused by Soren's Syndrome and similar conditions renders an Infection Form incapable of tapping into the host's nervous system to kill and infect him or her. The Infection Form is therefore unable to enact any large-scale physiological mutation; however, some Mutant DNA is still spliced with the host's DNA, apparently imparting the host with enhanced regenerative capabilities. Zukan Akutagawa, a Soren's Syndrome patient, was the only a survivor after an outbreak in the containment facility on Installation 04 where The Mutagen attacked two squads of Krosana Space Command Pilots. However, the Soren's Syndrome was a story invented to cover his past in the GENGHIS Programme and the side-effects of his (experimental) enhancements, so the validity of each as a countermeasure against Mutangenic infection is questionable.
While Soren's Syndrome, if left untreated, can leave the patient immune to the Mutant infection, the disease will prove fatal within a couple of years. It was once stated that there is a one in a billion chance that research, from someone so inflicted with Soren's Syndrome in a way that they cannot be infected, could be carried on to produce a cure.
Since the Mutagen is a parasitic life form, they depend on other organisms for survival. Thus, the only logical foolproof way to eliminate them permanently is to take away their food sources. The Mov'ea attempted this by bombing large population centers, but this was seen as one of their last resorts and as such was performed too late in the war to make much difference. The absolute last resort was the use of the Exodus installations, which effectively destroyed all life in the galaxy and starved the Mutagen into extinction. However, the Mov'ea's plan included some measures to preserve sentient life and return them to their home planets, allowing the Mutagen's "food source" to persist. Unfortunately, at the same time, specimens of Mutagen spore cells were kept for analysis on the Exodus Installations, allowing the threat of the Mutagen to be merely forestalled, not eradicated.
Environmental stimuli seem to have an effect on Mutagen metabolism. Exodus installations typically artificially incorporate low temperature into environments suffering Mutant outbreak and to create natural obstacles to Mutagen progress, regarded as Quarantine zones. At least one Mutagen Research Facility used low temperatures to keep its specimens inactive and dormant as it studied them. This may be the reasoning behind keeping Installation Control Rooms in low degree weather, impeding their occupation by the Mutagen. The Mutagen are also vulnerable to temperatures on the other end of the spectrum. Plasma weapons will burn through them, as well as Sentinel Beams, which were specially designed to counter the Mutants, indicating that the Mov'ea had determined energy weapons to be the best 'basic countermeasure' available to fight the Mutants. It may be a side-effect of the Mutagen's conversion of the body into biomass, breaking down cellular integrity and increasing flammability.
There was a Mov'ean belief that during their final years, Prehistoric Krosana had found a cure to the Plague. In spite of massive efforts to recover the data, it was either lost or destroyed.
The lost cure altered the DNA of inoculated humans in a manner that upon infection, the altered DNA would act as a corruptive catalyst when bonded with the aggressive Mutagen; resulting in the physiological degradation of the Mutagen's neural inhibitions, to the extent that when this Mutagen entity arose, it would consume all biological entities - including other Mutant (both the traditional and Krosanian-mutated specimens), which would in turn awaken as more altered organisms, thus self-perpetuating the disease into proportions sufficient to cause genocide through mass cannibalistic attrition.
Krosana injected one third of their population with the Mutagen and then placed themselves in the Mutangen's path, ensuring the Mutant's would assimilate the disease. The plan worked, and the Mutant were successfully stopped.
